Will Hsoma get a new int mob?

Author Content Date
Its coming to around that time when all the high levels are level 75/80+ and need to decide what to do with their >>limited<< remaining levels.

I noticed devils got an int mob which has got an extra 10 int (Drazil Druid) which would provide better int gains than GS. And on Esoma there was an int mob after nms (Sekhmet? which you could hunt at 125/130 int) And there are people on the server who have around that much int, and others who are not far behind. Most people tend to start nms at around 105/110, and would logically make sense that if another mob was added similarly to that of Drazil druid (155 int) it would be hunt able around 115/120 or more)

So the question is will there be a new int mob for humans?
Please note i am not asking for one to be added, i am just asking for clarification. It would be unfair on those who are currently leveling on high int to get past the stage where they would hunt a new mob and have it introduced later, as it would surely provide better gains % wise than nms currently.

I think people have a right to know as any changes in mobs later on could drastically affect the final stats of a character upon reaching the level cap (At which you will no longer be able to gain stats)

Thanks for reading ^_^

Ditto this, though would love it if Sekhmets and Seraphim were introduced here, iirc Slither mentioned to me they had INT to rival the STR of the top str mobs at the time (WBM and BLG).

I believe sylver said they was a possibility to add a new int mob but that it was to soon.

as a devil mage the problem we have is that where only 1 class, we cant swop to sword/axe/knuckle/bow/spear, so that slowdown you have hit and we are hitting also, means we cant lvl anymore, punching is horrid with a mage as our str is lower than our level, so we would be punching a monster a lot lower.

not knowing much about the current state of hsoma, but I believe magic damage is a lot higher than melee damage with same def as most others, where as devil melee is a lot higher so where as a mage deals a lot of dmg they also take a lot of damage

but yes, this is spose to be esoma, yet abyss is missing Sekhmets and Seraphim are missing

"REHLINA"

but yes, this is spose to be esoma,

I'd like to comment on these few words as they are the wrong train of thought. This has lost all relation to ESoma a long time ago. This especially is why we should continue with ideas because there's so much more possibilities and with it more hinders. Don't get me wrong, we shouldn't learn and take from ESoma but we shouldn't strive to be ESoma. This is Blade of Heaven Soma afterall.

I do agree with this thread, please continue your debate. :D

INT buffed by 10, magic attack increased by 20... Though devil mages don't really get any magic defence as they level up, so they're pretty frustrating to hunt.

In fact, we don't really get any stats apart from INT when we level up...

Had 0.4dex 0.6str 0.6dex 0.9wis 2.8int last level and in 2 levels time i'm sure my str gain will drop down to 0.2~0.3 a level.

At the moment no I'd make do with the current monsters before the cap at level 100.

Keep in mind we would be increasing the cap but only after enough players have hit it.

Why? Nightmares will continue to give nice INT/% until you hit 140.

people only favor int now because they dont have to right click non stop, thats why int far in front of str, and thats why int mob needed soon rather than later so int can get more in front.

Take holding click for doing INT watch less people do INT

id say wait til alot of people have hit level cap

I know what you're saying but no, people favor int because its quicker, easier and currently more powerful than melee.

Also, taking away the ability to hold down right click for INT will never happen because it'd be stupid so that's not even worth discussing.

At 140 they're no longer "good" for stats, they just continue to grant them.

It'd be like saying you can continue to hunt Fire Worms until 90str, hunt Scaled Raptors until 60str.
You can still get gains, but they will be pretty poor.
