dsoma mages

to do list for dsoma mages.

- Upgrade heal (lvl 1 atm)
- upgrade weakening (lvl 1 atm)
- Adjust Fallen trolls drops (cant make a propper living atm)
- Adjust Drazil druid drop file as its a copy of garg shamans atm
- make focused mind aura perm instead of 5 seconds untill there more dsoma mages about? (discuss)
- chain lighting-X has higher range then explosion-X (not sure if its ment to be that a mass hit spell has more range)
- make 1 dsoma spell same range as hsoma light arrow?

There needs to be some EXCITEMENT when hunting DD/trolls , that makes you want to kill the next one, and then the next ......

Same as there is excitement for wep drops/rubies/eggs at wbm, and PODs at apaii for melee classes

Otherwise with the terrible lvling speed, you really just cant motivate yourself.

Adding small amethysts/sapphires (or even mediums honestly) to the drop file, and possibly MA ear or something else useful could work nicely

excitement for WBM for eggs rubies and weaps? could count on one hand how many of those iv had

The problem is that dsoma mages are often overlooked @.
But with a few changes it can be a cool/fun class to do!

Spells will be reworked and lvls will be added. I hadn't had time to work on them and I'm not really a developer so it's taking longer than expected. I just can't stay away from these forums though. xD

I think we should refrain from 'temporary' changes just to lure people into a class. I can see a lot of backlash coming from it or the changes will never be reverted (this isn't a bad thing per se, but not the way to make content / changes)

I don't really understand why magic is interruptable anyway, mellee will damage a Mage as much as Mage does mellee but only one is stopped attacking, and basically all classes mellee hit faster due to upgrades, unless speeding up staff could increase cast speed

Gems were recently added to mellee mobs, can't they also be added to magic mobs as a bump?

Honestly I'm not sure. I think a 100% cast rate is probably too much because even at 100% devils (and humans in pvp - Ganon does too much dmg to outpot) will struggle but a % chance of interrupt may be a good balancing measure.

New upgrade item that adds percentage chance to ignore dmg interrupting cast. That requires diamonds for the craft (as they are utterly useless in dsoma atm and drop from mage mobs already)

Fixes like 3dsoma issues in one go

How do you work that out? The class with the lowest defence and Dex also prevented from being able to attack at all unless got others helping them ?
If you think that's op maybe they should just delete magic from the game and stick it to myth of archer
