Needs a wipe tbh. Cap raise won’t bring people back. My honest opinion is it’s test server v2 with all these upgrade items and +8 items. Don’t think there was as much +8s in test server.

The +8 items would just come back round, making them more rare would just put the casual players off as they would never see any upgrades

Dont mind a wipe as such, tho if that was happening then dsoma needs its issues sorting and not this new stat system, issue then is , if wipe was to happen in 6 months wilst this is getting addressed everyone would quit now

The issue I find is the grind is too long, the other problem is the grind is what made the game.

For me the problem isn't the level cap it's the fact theres nothing to do at level cap. If you compare it to WoW which this is nothing like they invest on fast routes to max level so you can actually enjoy the game. The problem is Soma currently has no low level, mid level or top level content.

For me there needs to be more to do at cap, which I don't think is implementable. Soma requires something that will draw people in to work as a group and to build upon. A talent system is a good idea, being able to move your stats around is a good idea. Maybe make more than Str/Int/Dex the dominant factors to any build.

We have charisma, con, wis, make use of them, make them relevant to a build so theres more variation in to what people can create. Make a map that requires genuine raid tactics to survive, gear can be negated so it comes down to playing the game properly not just sitting there and spam potting.

The game needs a lot more than a level cap if it want's to thrive not just survive. When the players get to 110 we will just have the same problem and the same people moaning.

The grind is why I haven't come back. Just can't invest so much time into a game anymore. Have neither the time nor the patience, to be fair. If it was twice as fast, then I might consider it.

I do agree it needs wiped. Needs to have no stat bonus so all weapons are viable from the start. This in turn makes all mobs viable from the start. Healing for int should be removed completely. Gaining stats from casting auras removed. Con should be attained at any time while giving no exp. Mobs should stop giving stats when they are capped to prevent exp wastage. Devil soma should be changed to be like hsoma, using any weapon they want and all weapons and armour brought in line with hsoma to prevent imbalance. Total crafting cap should be removed to prevent the need to make new characters to get high skills. If the weight gained from crafting skill is an issue prevent any weight gain from crafting after 400 total skill. Its almost became a joke the number of people afk healing because you have to heal to 100 int for the perfect character.

I would also have all mobs drop gems frogs ll herbs sp at db at a reduced drop rate and halve the drop rate when you cap the mob to prevent high levels farming noob mobs. Have ep's tabs nahwans etc only drop from bosses and have mobs drop weapons relevant to their tier.

I've reached the point I can tell I won't be back. But I honestly couldn't tell you what would make me or others come back.

Every route taken would upset people and turn a group away, and there isn't enough players to be upsetting or turning anyone away.

I think everyone should just enjoy the game as it is now, and I very much doubt anything major will be changed to affect anything here on out.

Not seeing much pk'ing so hopefully people are still kicking about.

There's absolutely no way I'm starting again. I'm 'mid-core' and I'm just not willing to put in the effort. Wiping for what? To repeat the levelling process to what end?

There would be tons of 'low-core' who would stick around for a few months, moan it's too hard and leave... Then that leaves you with the same 'hard-core' group at lvl 1.

The server needs adding, dsoma needs changing because they are pathetically OP, incentives for PVP, more PVE mobs at lvl 100, introducing a system to make "first gen" characters more powerful (I hate 30 con 100 int chars with appalling stats), stop the botters , stopping the macros, stop the buying and selling for £'S, stop the pilots... Just a few issues. Better to work with what we have. Wiping solves nothing.
