This happens on dsoma regardless, I always have people hitting me non defenders included weather the guild I'm in owns the village or not. I've ran in the hall before and seen guilds just standing around the stone like lemons doing nothing until I get there.
It used to bug me but now I just put it down to certain people not understanding how gvw actually works.

If that's the case then no offense but that's a rather crappy reason for everyone to be stood there doing nothing.

lol only time any stone change happened was because we made it happen and then another guild who isnt hitting each other managed to walk on. case and point you kajoken.. the video is right there on linkdx no idea why theres a need to pretend like it didnt happen when its on youtube. dont think he even hit another person who wasnt eq which is fair enough... but lets not pretend to ourselves it was a very good war and im glad that ppl actually turned up for a change.

I don't see a problem with that, a weaker guild using tactics to stop the strongest from getting on stone and therefore winning, thus improving their own chances of someone getting on the stone. [/quote]

Just the fact i've never agreed with the whole alliance thing, it made it boring for me when in dynamic hence why i never bothered going.
i admit, the last few have been some of the best, but sooner or later will just turn back to how it used to be. Everyone used to moan about the alliance between EQ and Dynamic, my question is how is what dark leg etc do any different from that?

Then you have those that moan about alliances as long as they're losing but are more than happy to be a part of one if it gets them a win. Just always been funny to me seeing people moan about a guild doing something then the next week they're doing the exact same thing themselves.

Yeah I suppose that's true aswell, I've always been a free for all person I don't really care if I win or lose just as long as the war is decent and everyone is trying to win for themselves.

Yeah I suppose that's true aswell, I've always been a free for all person I don't really care if I win or lose just as long as the war is decent and everyone is trying to win for themselves.

The trouble mate, is how the dynamics of players are all set out. And how GVW is currently with int being on top and FW being so powerful. Say, the top 30 human players. I'd be willing to bet are all split up between EQ and the Chinese guild. And then say 6 players noteworthy in other guilds. The start of this war, ~10 chinese players around the stone. EQ and Sylver not turning up to the last ~20 minutes. We had ~6-8 people there, but only one player in Ace who could do damage and tank a stone from the Chinese. So whats the point in fighting? EQ turn up with ~15 people and within 20 seconds have killed ~20-30 people with frostwind surrounding the stone. Why bother fighting when they can do all the killing for you? All you have to do is wait to the last ~3 minutes and get a top player in position, then listen to his commands of who to blind/slow and stop casting. In everyones case it will be EQ, because they have 10 people just constantly casting frostwind into the group of players trying to navigate into the stone. Its just the way the tactics and things are atm, that doesn't justify fully FFA. The weekbefore, EQ used a mass block on GVW entrance to stop people going in. The only way of getting in, was for EVERY other guild to join forces and break through. Just the way it is atm.
