There is no way you can stop it. You just have to accept it happens and either strive to compete anyway or move on.

And I am telling you there is no way to police it.
Wow, Eve Online, Overwatch the list goes on of top games can’t stop cheaters, pilots, buying items ect ect how do you expect Soma with GM’s who use spare time? How can you tell the difference between friends account sharing and pilots? How can you tell the difference between buying items and gifting / borrowing to a friend? It is impossible Lupi, it doesn’t need a GM to tell you that.

One simple solution however 99% of the people may dislike this idea however if people want others to stop selling then make it once you equip an item, it is bound to you. Simple solution tbh
Edit: also stops people sharing which imo isn't fair either tbh |

This obviously isn't going to happen as it would hurt the player base too much as this is part of the (online) soma community.

Well the dsoma stats are being changed and that may hurt the player base as well, however you still went with the change. What's wrong with stopping people with trading gear which in my opinion is unfair because everyone should work hard to gear themselves up and not "lend" gear off others. This will also stop the conflict between people selling gear for irl money. Which again is a big benefit and also makes it fair for everyone else.

So the players with all the best gear get even more gear and the players that are struggling get shat on ?
