Make bow range 4 simple solution

"GANONPK"Hopefully, I don't think we would be having this debate if I didn't have such good gear ! Aibaar I have played a 2nd gen mage e.g deathnote which has highest possible dex and int and is just as bad against a archer. Mainly down to the high speed of bows and accuracy gear that counter evasion.


what gear u used on deathnote?

Full 7% eva set, 10dex ring 8 dex ring 8 dex ear 8 dex necklace.

With bows being 500 rec with accu armor and serums even if a mage wore all eva and dex access he’s still never going to have a chance vs one archer. By the time he’s got a weaken on and cast the person her serumed and probably stopped the mage casting 5 times on the bounce. Archers can’t get stopped casting, have the ability to click lock and just sit tapping f1 if they need to and have a bows as fast as 451 (sorry matty your rubbish epic doesn’t cut the mustard) also an archer can wear his normal armor / access to fight a mage and a mage needs to change his armor and access to even attempt to fight a mage.

All these factors atack up to mages being heavily handicapped. I’m an archer and I’m even saying we are OP. Surely that is saying something?

Large Matthew with 139 dex and full evasion just pvp against rare and he couldn’t get a cast off, enough said ^.^

The issue is clearly that a geared archer doesn't just counter a mage, it nullifies them.

That might be ok, but what nullifies the archer? Not much really. Charge in and 5th stone them - feathers, awareness, range and dex all work to help the archer.

Problem is you cant have dsoma mage 4th in hsoma because it just becomes too OP when you're talking about 5 mages using it at the same time, rather than the 1 active devil mage.

Reduced range isn't a bad concept, if nothing else because it means melee have more chance to attack or stone archers.

Make their accuracy lower the further they are away from the player maybe? If that's even possible for Finito to code in. Would help Dsoma PvP as well?

This would be a decent fix if spells had same range as bow but they don't.

We don't want it to be Myth of Light Arrow.

The only way mages can cast at gvw atm is by going off screen and casting light arrow Lol, or u run precast n repeat while machine gun range bows are putting out 10x a mages dmg rofl. Even with full Eva + dex access you cannot cast.
