By way of a suggestion, how about an “achievements” element to the game?

On the lines of quests but not quests. There would be no reward except to complete personal achievements. Each one could be allocated “points” and perhaps there could be a website “Hall of Fame” (like PoS) for the top, say, 20 people with the highest achievements boasting their points.

The elements could be almost endless and there would be no need to introduce everything at once, they can be phased in over periods of time (I am acutely aware Finito has been hard it at and probably wants a rest).

It also doesn’t rely on your character being high level and all players would be equal (whether PvP or PvE).

Examples could be;

10 x Raptors slain 5 points
100 x Raptors slain 10 points
1000 x Raptors slain 50 points
10000 x Raptors slain 100 points

(No duplicate points for each increment of 10, 100 or 1000)

Repeat for all mobs.

Could do the same with Human PKs, Devil PKs, Cross Realm kills, any items looted, barr looted, GVW Wins, GVW Stone wins, GVW Kills, Boss kills, Rings created (ditto all other professions), quests completed, dailies completed etc.

“Fun” things could be added for points like;

Different armours equipped, different weapons equipped (becomes hard because skills in weps are needed), haircuts changed, “Rock Paper Sissors” won, items upgraded etc.

Can include events too … Christmas Elves slain, Vampires slain, letters collected, presents opened, Eggs found etc.

There are literally loads of things that can be included and “rolled in” over time.

Of course I expect some people would want a “credit” for the stuff they have already done but I would suggest everyone starts from scratch except, perhaps, quests which cannot be re-done (if the database holds that info).

Just a thought anyway …. I hope people add to the thread.

It follows the Warcraft achievements system.
