[FIXED] 1st spear aura bugged

seems to be a issue with its cool down, takes forever to cast, like 2nd spear aura is resetting its cooldown

Identified and fixed this issue will be releasing a client patch soon. It was happening with all passive auras after using an offensive aura.

Just to let you know it was happening regardless of whether or not an attacking aura was cast. Not sure if that changes anything that you have fixed just letting you know

Sure it is updated? MsgFlt.dll should have modified date around 15/12/2017 22:05.

The cooldown of 1st aura is 15 seconds so the way I been testing it is to cast 1st aura then wait like 10 seconds then cast 2nd then should be able to cast 1st aura again within a few seconds, before fixing it was resetting and taking an extra 15 seconds.

iv just been letting 1st aura finish on its own and then casting after a 2nd (as casting 1st then casting 2nd straight away takes the aura/graphics off)

was updated, just deleting game.ver and letting it repatch

edit: that sorted it, but before i client did say it was at the latest version

Yeah that is another bug it doesn't actually take off the 1st aura if you already had it active its just that when you cast so quick because the cast animation hasn't quite finished on the 1st aura the client hasn't actually told the server it has been casted yet (there is a bit of a delay) so it will actually skip casting the aura and just cast 2nd.

Will have a go at fixing this later. Should be able to somehow have the client still send the cast of the aura to server even though starting to cast another.

ye a old bug, can remember testing this on esoma with aura vanishing, but was still getting the attk from aura

JAHEIRAedit: that sorted it, but before i client did say it was at the latest version

It can fail to update MsgFlt.dll if the client is open when patching, I should really do something about this will make note of it.

1st now seems to wait for 2nd cooldown whereas before you could cast 1st immediately after 2nd and it worked perfectly other than if you were to cast 1st then 2nd immediately after which would cause you to lose the 1st animation, which also still happens now.

I've given up using it atm because delaying casting 2nd by a second or two is not worth gaining 3atk for while hunting imo.

Please make sure the client has actually updated and didn't run the update with the game open. Can force the update by deleting game.ver then run launcher with game closed.
