a solution to MAGE VS ARCHER

4TH AURA for mage.. requires 200skill

Lasts for 15seconds
cooldown lasts for 30seconds

uses 100stam n 75hp per go


aura increases def by 20 and allows you to cast without interruption for 15 seconds... takes 15seconds to reuse which in that time u can be disrupted but as a Downside Spells MP cost drastically increases so even mages with very high mp wont be able to sustain MA output unless they can pot up both HP and MP quick enough to survive



another idea for weaken spell... make it so weaken disappears after successfully hittin the target with 5 magic attack... this includes other peoples MA but excludes melle attacks....

Animation could be a mixture of all 3 Auras sprites and change the colours to Red for devils and Gold for humans?

They are still being hit with the aura on so even in that 15 seconds of cast time they can still be CC and die

There is no problem. Mages 1 bang people. There build is deisnged around this.

Archers hit people FROM RANGE thats the idea lol

Nothing to fix its fine

Mages don't 1 bang people, you can serum weaken lol. You have +8 bows even with evasion mages can't cast. You're deluded. Mages can't even upgrade their main weapon which is Staff lol.

It is a problem, mages can't cast against melee and cause of the cap raise its very unlikely anyone will be 1 banged now as you lot will have higher hp and int. Mages still need 4th staff or a extra aura. Mages is the only class that cant cast 2 auras yet. Every class has got stronger but mages have got weaker. I only 1 bang because link and I time our casts perfect and only has a 10% chance even happening. I can understand if they don't want to nerf bows but they should consider giving mages more options.

Get some dex and wear some eva then, you cant expect to be specced fully into str / int with no dex and have it all your own way wearing offensive armor rahter than defensive..


Any mage with 120/125 dex with EVa can still cast fast cast spells

Lol you can’t cap int and get 125 Dex but since the cap has been raised I’ll be able to get more Dex but won’t help as the VK lot will have even higher Dex. Evasion wouldn’t be enough anyway as the bows are way to quick

U are able to get 120dex 125str and 160+int. There is a char like that and can cast under archers attack when he wear full eva and drx accesories. The thing is that Ganon i pre1st gen char and dont want to resign useing his ma accesories for full eva and dex gear. And Its Bcoz of his low dex

Agree with Aibaar, mages with even 110-115 dex and high int (Not cap but 166) with EVA / dex and 2nd staff do a pretty good damage with light sword / ss fast casting.

You cant expect to just wear full +MA gear with low dex and expect to be able to faceroll your keyboard and kill people
