As the title suggests, perhaps on the website somewhere we can see how many users are online?

Dont think its required, can only lead to negativity

Eg 3/4 weeks ago GVWs were pretty dead hardly anyone turned up, people probably would have started moaning, "oh look theres now only 500 people online instead of the 700 there were before". But now gvw is more busy than ever.

Number of people will always go up and down with time, no real need for people to see exactly how many, game is pretty populated / busy in all areas atm, which is good enough if you ask me.

I just thought it would be good for new players who want to play to encourage them that it's not a server that's going to just pack up like all the others that have had low player counts to see if its worth while playing, but thanks for your reply :)

fourm is easy enough to get to with plenty of activity, screenshots are updated constantly and then the great player feed

plenty of things to show how active this is

It had been dicided earlier to not have a usercount display on the website.

New players have no relation to if there are few or many online. The only reason one would have a counter like that is to see trends.
