Just wondering why i cant speak to my friend who plays dsoma. I kind of get why it was put in place but is it still necessary? abit of a pain switching characters just to talk.
What are the downsides to removing it and letting races talk to each other? as you know people use 3rd party apps to talk if they really want to but i just find it necessary

probly better in the ideas and suggestion section
tho i think it needs to stay this way by default, but would be nice if you could activate it for the ppl that don't mind (for pms only, not normal chat) |

most people just use discord/whatsapp

All of those exist anyway with whatsapp / discord and all the other apps people use. if someone wants to make alliances or have cross world spies they're going to do it as a voice app is a far better way to do it anyway. just find it abit lame not being able to speak to friends. sure i could use discord etc but just to say hello its abit of a ball ache.

All of those exist anyway with whatsapp / discord and all the other apps people use. if someone wants to make alliances or have cross world spies they're going to do it as a voice app is a far better way to do it anyway. just find it abit lame not being able to speak to friends. sure i could use discord etc but just to say hello its abit of a ball ache.[/quote]

Yeah I was just thinking PM like he says it’s easy enough to bypass it and I think not letting us pm each other just does more harm than good. It’s nice to laugh with a devil after he bangs me in vod but logging out and going to speak is just a ball ache. I guess it’s another case of the potential rule breakers making he game worse for everyone else again

don't see no harm in it being pm only, if its off by default, and u activate it by /crossracechaton ect
could have a little notice in the pm window when opposite race pms u with ************* telling u how to activate it if u want to see the message |

a command to decrypt an incoming message would delay it enough to stop people using it for alliances etc. or a delay on incoming crossworld messages showing up
