DSoma Stat display

Prometheus just told me a idea ingame that would be quite nice. I'd like to hear more thoughts about it.

What if we could see (in DSoma) how many stats we will get? For instance a char at 50% could have 50 (1.5)STR, where the 1.5 is the stats he has gathered so far. Please take note that it's only graphical, so that stat hasn't actually increased yet.

Good idea but isn't their a lot more things that need sorting on dsoma as a priority rather than this? If finito is busy surely his time is best put to essential things and once they are sorted nice additions can be made after

Maybe it isn't a priority but it would be nice, even if it's only to register the idea for the future.

Yea would be great its a hard slog not seeing gains at later levels it's at least a visual representation to show your not wasting your time.

I have to agree with Takeshi, However i think its a very good idea , will help a lot with the mind game of higher level grinding and dont effect the game otherwise .

Good one.

This is a strange one, because although it would be helpful, on things like punching levels I dont want to know how much I'm going to gain because it's more off putting than anything else. Also after 100.0 stat gains are progressively better so its easy to predict what the variable would be from last level.

That said, it is a good idea though, not essential but good ^^

Isnt this just the same lvl'ing style as hsoma?

I would like to see this too, would also help when you get to the stage were you are unsure about moving to the next mob and can test if it gives better stats before you waste a full level to realise they shit.

I would love to see this

Sometimes it does feel a bit of a grind having to get a full 100% to see any form of improvement (excluding skill.)
It would be far more pleasing to know you've gained something i.e i'm going to log on and do 1.0 STR rather than i'm going to do x% - even if this is just graphical and not actual, it makes a big difference to perception of achievement [

Also as Alu mentioned : mob testing, its a nightmare to do a lvl that takes 3x as long elsewhere under the guise of gaining better gains to find you wind up with 0.1-0.2 more and it was essentially a waste of time that could have been better spent.

Obviously i have no idea of the work required to make this happen but i truly believe this improvement would only help DSoma in the long run.

I think this would be an amazing client add. May have less "Bang" now 5 months into server, but if you were just starting this server would be a great advantage to see gain / rate on mobs from start. JMO

I like how it is at the moment, how would the stats even display anyway?

I think the proposed is on mouse over stat, STR 50 would display 50 (1.5) the 1.5 being the gain in stat to that point.
