I was about back in the esoma days, absolutely destroyed my character back then. Just decided to create a new one but was wondering what route to take with weapons. Back in the day I did bow and axe but is it more worth while doing pure bow? I was even thinking about going pure knuck this time but does it stand a chance against now users? Does bow dominate and make it the only weapon worth using?

To get best stats possible its bow for dex then do str with axe,

Most people Level with bow till their desired dex they want to end with then start Str lvling.

if its ur first time back for ages I suggest just lvling with what ever u want and enjoy being back in soma, then if u get serious just start a new char, or do both ;)

This is the problem, I destroyed the old character by doing a bit of everything 😂 this time I was to do it right and get best possible stats first time

My only advise? Join Dsoma.

I do like the idea of knuckles but I don't want to suffer end game just because of what weapon I chose!

So for the ‘perfect char’ you need event mobs in tyt to get 30con while on 10str still. After that you’re resigned to healing for int as long as you can last! Then bow until you’re happy with dex. As it stands I think the highest dex you can get with the str cap is 152(ish) but that leaves no room for int!

So I would suggest making a quick onyx char to enough str to tank higher lvl mobs for your ‘perfect char’ later on

That's not a bad idea actually. Do the quick knuck char so I have my own tank

It depends how much you want to invest in a decent char or your happy just playing the game for fun :P

Decent char is still nothing without op gear these days, just do what you like and enjoy the game... Wb :)

Personally I know ill never cap but I enjoy having good stats for my level. Each to their own lol.

Stats don't matter end game.

It's all about items..
