TTORU Camping Conti nms...Thoughts?

So as far as I’m concerned keep it as it is. Those of us who’ve had the joy of collecting horror eyes previously had to suffer.

Suggestion, get some str or carry on bringing 3-4 body guards to NM.


Thi isnt a DL/VK issue as this guy is killing everyone.

I have done horroe eye before on cupid so i know the deal , but this guy is logging out there and checking it like every 5 mins. I have never seen this. 1 Dev clearning a whole spawn is a bit broken imo.

I never seen it as much of a problem as I trained most of my int at Conti nightmare while being camped by devils, always just banged them and they didn’t come back lol Just need your Guildies to help you secure nightmares as I always had someone on standby.

could be a major issue now with how Devs are built.. a lot stronger than they used to be.. no offence but ur a mage with low Str or limited amount to gain.. if u could bang em then.. id don't think its possible now Even if u got a team to back you up.. if u don't have capped str u get owned... I'm 112str on Rasczak atm.. yet a dev archer who isn't even lvl 100 can kill me with a normal hit in VOD when I'm on full hp (606).. Devil % needs to be drastically reduced for these reasons. or there is no competativness... if a devil can 1 hit you without a aura on full hp regardless if theres a 50str diff.. % is far off being correct.

Who ever asked for devils being able to revive in the first place so they can keep killing is at fault.

i think a number of issues need to be clarified.

namely:

Is the point of playing devil so that you can 1 v many humans and do well RVR? Yes/No
Or are devils stronger due to lower population? Yes/No

The answers to these should let us know where we stand.

In my view, if devils are only made stronger to be contenders in WOTW then they should not be overpowered once the war is over. If you come to a contested area you may well expect to fight, but not where there is the potential for abuse or monopoly

The issue of one person as named here is only an example. The topic as a whole should be looked at.

If I go conti, i expect that i may have to TP, run or stand and fight. I've never been a level or stat strength to stand and fight so i either get caught unawares and die or tp. That is boring af and stupid af. so generally i dont make use of the map.

T6 was brought in cause there were a number of folks like me who just never went to conti so we were forced to decide to either logout for 10min or take the chance as mentioned above.

I have no problem encouraging RVR, I do have a problem in the one to many nature that is endemic in RVR as it stands. I dont see it changing as there's too much QQ either way

also, it has to be said that folks do have access to strong devils and they do use this to apply a monopoly at time. This while it is contrary to the rules is not worth reporting. so i just get on with it.

If you die on opposition race map it should be warp to town, no item loss but instant warp.

Other than that let the guy have his fun.

agreed.. make it so they cant revive on opposing races maps AND change the damn % they are on when they can come vod at T6.... its unfair

please stop commenting on RvR when theres a level difference

wtf would happen if a lvl100 + human came and pked you without the lvl 20 pk limit, 1 shot ?

devils raiding conti/t6 are currently on 70%

Before patch i had 260 str, on 60% = 156 str
after patch 230 str on 70% = 161 str

not much difference atm to what it used to be.

i loved the change of humans being able to revive, it keeps the RvR going for a lot longer, if the was warped to town on death then it would be over, and they wouldn't want to keep coming back

Its nothing to do with level difference. As stated a capped devil can tank 3-4 capped humans when humans own the map which shouldn't be the case. The whole point is the raid the map, a raid shouldn't consist of one devil running around 4-5 hitting humans with near cap str.

again u don't comment on what your attacking the devil with, and what type of devil

if its a melee devil and your meleeing the devil, then yes, the devil probly tanked you

i can go WOTW in FULL mage gear and human melee don't hurt, but I'm one of the highest str chars ingame, but even in that mage gear, it dosnt stop me getting 2 shot from some of the highest int humans, and currently ignoring the range difference, i cant 2 shot the human who can 2 shot me with magic

finito was looking into splitting magic and melee % up, so that magic would hurt a little less, and melee a bit more ect, tho i don't know whats happened to this

Nothing need changing to either side.

I agree with Jaheira - if you are 40 levels above someone, they better be getting 1-2 hit on any %. You can't expect someone level 70 to stand a chance against someone who is 105 or 110 lets say... end of.

I will also say that devil's have had to sacrifice STR/DEX/CON for WIS/INT, because humans can 2 hit, on some occasions 1 hit, most devils.

There isn't much to say really, apart from :

fight together rather than an individual.

It's a hard one. I'm sure a human got banned for it before? We all want to hunt. From this convo it looks like humans can't atm. But we don't want to nerf anything because some of the arranged conti fights between vk and devils have been awesome. So to die and warp if your on opposing map would kill the battles. Although they don't happen as much now cap raise is in as everyone is hunting valks or boars. Before that conti mags was the place for guild hunts.

cap the raid attack% to 50-60% for both worlds this would allow then to keep some defence
