Ooooo what did i win :O

I think in regards to items not breaking it's a great idea for the item to just not attack the mob/ use dura past 50, i'm sure this is what most modern mmorpg games are like and its something that will help every player, they won't have to constantly F10 after a certain period of hunting, And if an item does break then that could put the cherry on top for someone if it's a really hard to get item so to speak and i think we need to consider the small community size

I think items should be able to break - its one of the few actual dangers you have in the game and stops it from becoming a total afk fest. It works well because the faster the wep the more you have to look after it

The red writing is quite late/hard to see though so something could be done to make it work better

I agree it needs to not let people be afk, I like the idea that if an item goes to zero dura it has to be repaired at an expensive cost i.e 1mil barr etc.

This would stop any afk as they would not want a 1mil repair bill every time.

But ass demond says, its hard to just relax and grind when literally every 5 mins your checking f10 as i do.

A sooner warning would be good along with the items not breaking but needed a super special repair if it does.

Maybe even a new crafting skill? You could charge what every you wanted then.

They fixed 2 other reasons why people lose hard earned items recently (lag drops, buy back) So why not fix this one. Like i said i know of 2 people recently one lost a epic xbow +6 in a GM even killing a boss. And the other a epic stinger hunting (apparently his missus was playing it while he went to the toilet so i am told )

But still it seems stupid these items can take years to get but then lose them to dura. Like i said in podcast i nearly lost an earing on cupid recently in pvp. Hard to notice the red in pvp when your looking at other things.

In my opinion, i don't think it would cause players to be afk more as it'll only keep attacking until that mob is dead, and within 30 seconds or so however long it takes to kill that mob they'd need to click on the new mob, however i do like the idea that perhaps if it goes to 0 dura it doesn't break and perhaps barr to be involved to make it more useful in game as a currency and perhaps it could only be done via someone with a high crafting skill so they would also potentially have a "fee" to do this for them. (Something like an NPC in the farm)

Either way i think the dura warning definitely could be improved - Perhaps something like the /notify feature GM'S have so its constantly scrolling on your screen from say 100-50 dura?

to add to Jaheiras post, can MD robes be added to more mobs, omni is only available from MBL currently and that doesnt spawn that often.

The only tweak needed is to increase the dura warning from 60 to 200 for example. Also to change the colour writing. Other than that leave it well alone.

Another great idea i like this one, Something similar to the GM blue colour would be eye catching.

I would say make an audiable warning signal, the reason for this is because if you are at a spawn of mobs with a constant spawn (use hoarde for example) you can sit there with a clicker running with he mouse positioned just so that you don’t move but you’ll attack mobs. Those with 100% evasion won’t even break armor and if their weap doesn’t ever break they can go afk for the 30mins or so their bow dura lasts with 0 worry (apart from pk but if you are neutral then hardly any worries)

Nothing should be changed except the message to 200, then 175, then 150 but different colour! And maybe a sound. I think if anyone breaks there items due to dura, its there own fault. I know that sounds harsh but it is. They are obviously not taking notice of the warning notices or pushing their dura to max before they change weapon, which is daft. I know a few items broken at +6/+7 and nothing has ever been changed. I think nothing needs changing. There should always be a chance of you breaking, and if they do break its the owners fault.

I don't see the harm in making an item stop working at whatever dura to prevent it from breaking. Items breaking through low dura does nothing to enhance the game IMO.

Never had it happen but have come close a few times.

I personally play with F . LUX on ember setting at night, and I can't see any type of message very easily. Sure I can turn it off, but just making the point that there are situations where it can be annoying and it adds nothing to the game, you still have to keep an eye on the screen constantly for many other reasons.
