I'll delete any guides about it from the forum. However I won't ban anyone for it (tree removing / skin changing) at this point.

However, if you are using an edited client like this it is at your own risk. If we see something that looks fishy you will be banned straight away. Also I'd like to remind people about our auto-ban feature which might not like your newly edited client.

If possible we will work toward removing the option to do this client side.

If we're going to have a discussion around this my personal opinion would be the removal of trees is no less a crime than changing armour colors. Both are editing the client but hardly life altering.

No, removal of trees gives conti rvr pvp advantage in my opinion

Didn't even think about it or even know it was possible. As much as I would love to remove trees, even though I don't PVP, just because they annoy me while hunting, I can fully see how this would come under the cheating/exploit umbrella. Definitely should be a bannable offense in my opinion unless the knowledge is made easily available to everyone to use.

removing trees is not bannable cause most would be banned by now RvR and PVP on area's that have trees gives u an edge cause u can see were ppl are hiding etc
thats the only difference if you not planning to get involved much with PVP/RvR's you can keep em

To me it's altering the game to gain an advantage, shouldn't be allowed.

If it was that much of a problem finito would of hardcoded trees.

It's not a problem.

The graphic may not be there but the tree still is.

So if you're running and can't see it then you risk running into a wall, the other races catching up and splat. Same outcome

The only way to get caught doing this is if u make videos or take screen shots and upload lol. It needs to be changed so it's hard coded that u can't do it or its made that u are allowed to edit the client as u see fit.

As u can all tell I've edited my client and changed some of the spells to make them look alot cooler. Do I now have to be worried I'm gonna get banned cos I've done this? Some clarity needs to happen on this matter. As I said you can't discrimate people who make videos to them who don't.

I've also seen multiple screenshots and videos om this website... of people who have removed trees and also edited spells and auras. If someone is to get banned now for doing this..... Then every single video and screenie needs to be reassessed and also action taken.
