Remove Pot Delay for SS

I've not been on months. The last time I went bl00d_shot still played it was that long ago.
Been thinking on what would make this more entertaining for both races. Only come up with this ATM

How about. Everyone lv60+ or something. No matter Devil or human. As soon as u get in. U all get same stat say like 200 str 150 Dex 200 int 1000hp. Same bag weight the lot.
No1 then has advantages. Disadvantages more pots or anything like that.
Everyone has to rally together to get the stones. Obviously more 1 sided would be more difficult
But if 10 human v 10 devils u would decide to what u think best for the 3 stones wether it be attack or defend.

Maybe ?

Sadly it won't work due to the hsoma numbers.
I would like to know how many active players in hsoma during SS event and what % of them decide to attend.
I have seen few SS where humans come in big numbers and overpower us with stone, weak and magic.
I understand melee users don't hurt devils as much as magic users so during SS give them STR and some Dex buff. Depending on how that goes devils in return may need some wisdom buff (during SS) but lets take it one step at a time.

I seriously think this will be enough incentive but if there is also a good portion not attending because of PK then lets consider programmatically turning it off for 30mins (I am not a fan of this since in dsoma the only time we seem to see our opponents is after SS or GVW so after SS is usually where we can get couple of kills).

The % system doesn't work for RvR, maybe change it to the CTF style, that way whichever side has the most numbers gets weaker and least numbers gets stronger?

bump i agree- Also devs can hold upto 100+ more hp pots than we can, another win for the op devs ;p

Humans have op mages with a spell that has a longer range than anything else in game, I have had it many times where I've ended up solo tanking a stone and unable to retaliate so just rinse pots - also an average hsoma mage can drop my capped axer as pot delay means I cant keep ahead of the damage

Isn't this why there are archers :P ? Soma can't cater to all classes as we all know bow is the best way to go - Idk why people keep saying mages are OP, You have serums use them, I've been on capped devs and yes can get killed with weak and proc, or 2 hits and killed with weak by a capped mage. But so does my human - Yet i don't call them OP because i chose not to get as much int.

If you don't want to get killed so easily by a mage put more points into wis/int whatever it is on dsoma, i don't know. But from my brief time playing as a capped dev at wotw i can say i felt like i could kick back and relax without having to pot unless I'm weaked and a mage is near

I've also seen Dev mages tank for about 60 seconds against 6 capped humans, I'll have to make a video soon.

Light arrow is bigger range than bow, that was my point, I even if I switched to a tbow I cant even interrupt casts
The difference is all axers/majority of spear users cant get decent md without nerfing their char for the other 95% of game play
I have a capped mage and yes it does rank very well against other mages, proper mellee chars with attack gear seriously chunk hp

If humans actually organised themselves, and created kill teams of 2x stoning tanks and 3x mages, and communicated with each other, we'd probably smash them.

Like at wotw, when we are surrounded at the safe area edge, if all mages precasted firestorm, then on the count of 3 ran out and cast, the overlapping damage would kill loads of devils.

Sure some mages would die, but many devs would die, then melee can run in and mop up.

As for the castle, a starcraft swarm would likely work best, all run in a massive pack on comms, AoE spell casting everything like a pack of locusts.

I doubt there would be much devs could do to counter it.

let humans wear / use devil armours/weapons unnerfed would help - even if limited to conti only
