New access recipe idea

I noticed alot of the time im trying to craft high tag wind bands/necro for high dura bases for upgrades which can get quite material hungry ( think 1000's of alt gems). Now i thought why isnt there a recipe for this purpose? I suggest 3 new recipes

1500 dura untagged base at its minimum skill level (increasable by skill & tag)

Heavy Duty Ring
Heavy Duty Necklace
Heavy Duty Earring

Simply use the original pattern of 3 metals but they must be scarlet metals perhaps throw in one molten oil to give it a sense of high craftsmanship.

I would hardly call 1k dura too low tbh. Also with 150skill a rare wind band goes to like 1.3k dura

The prob is not being able to use upped accs for long at nms and yes its true I can high roll 1300 on rare but its not consistent and they do fall short alot to 1100-1200 etc. In 1000 alt gems I hit two epics one of which was 1400 and the other 1300.(I farm the stige metal as its better to save the gems for tails)

As you can see using a huge volume of alt gems in this way is very costly and time consuming but its more about adding something for crafters at the higher levels, even armor crafters have nothing when you compare to wep crafters making int/lego apus as an stinger substitutes. I would genuinely like to see more recipes and if this suggestion is deemed "too op" or something then I guess thats ok.

Slightly off topic but I saw that sylver wanted to increase armor by 20% which im personally against but if it did I would suggest applying it to bitter bone, titus and then making regular bone craftable so that the crafting def bonuses wont outshine bitter too unviability.

I believe Sylver intends to add 20% to all HSoma armors.

As for new accessory - it seems the solution to your problem is making the 1k accessories craftable.

I raised that a number of times. Specifically in relation to quality of life improvements for accessory crafting.

Accessory crafting in hsoma is the only metal craft to have a starting dura LOWER than the base dura sold by NPCs

Also, i have dsoma crafted accessories with other 4000 dura...

You may give some of that cause they don't have sr but come on you have to admit that's taking the clean mick

I would strongly recommend considering making it bitter upwards exclusive rather than across the board as it would give crafting options some breathing room seeing as its got no where to go but bone for armor. Or buff bitter beyond 20% say 30% etc idk.

Also why was there never a bitter bone helm made? The gap is too large between bone helm and titus def wise, was there a reason for it?

If the basic 1k dura accessories became craftable you could easily make 1500+++ dura accessories.

I think that's an easy solve to the problem, just make the rings etc that are crafted the higher dura ones.
