When I use 3rd knuckle, it sometimes only hits either the mob I right click singularly, hits all of them except the one I click, doesn't work, or hits the ones behind me and not the one I click. I imagine it is supposed to be like 3rd sword, where if I click the one in the middle of 3, it'll hit all 3?

Am I missing something and doing 3rd Knuckle wrong or is it bugged?

once you have higher dex than what your hitting then yes

Still happens even when your dex is way above the mob your hunting. It doesn't really matter really as your still getting the stats etc.

its still based on dex, just as you can miss a mob with a normal hit, 3rd can miss a mob also

And it will target any 3 jobs within the 8 around you I believe? Which is why when you step up to 5th it hits all 8
