Could Magus be made range 1 for non ranged chars please?

It seems unfair with how welps work, along with magus, that a non ranged char has to constantly pull out a bow to enable them to hunt magma effectively.

With Magus at range 1 they would at least be able to kill those with their main weapon and therefore kill the magma's quicker...Everyone who isn't bow seems to give up on magma after a while for this reason. Would be nice to see more capped chars online, not just archers as well.

This is obviously more of an issue for dsoma as people are stuck to their class in order to do significant damage.

Drop rate also doesn't seem to be on par with Hsoma, could a GM confirm whether it is or not?

+1 Also their MD is still to high on D soma, a malee char can kill a Magus around x3 faster than i can on a Mage with weaken. As the final farming mob, I feel Magma need to be balanced for every class to hunt effectively.

+1 and raig is right about that MD on magus needs lowering a bit to get in line with melee

+1 make whelps slower also so a melee char might actually have a chance to kill without bow.

I was going to suggest that but didn't want to make it look like we want them 'care bear'...but to make them easier for all to hunt this would be good for non ranged chars.

Magus are now range 1 (well in the next reboot)
