"FRINGE"range of archer isnt really an issue. its the damage dealt over distance. with near 100% hit rate plus flinching of characters being hit so they are barely able to move while being hit


if they had to attack at a closer range surley makes life easier for axers swordies ect to close the gap without getting hit no? u say dealing damage from a distance therefore range is an issue.
and once u get past range 4or 5 u can get away easier and dont have to worry about gettin hit at range 9 n flinched to thn be 5th axed ect.

This thread is a joke.

Why not just remove bow altogether to stop the moaning?

All other weps have already been buffed. Feather lock has been removed. Now you want range, accuracy and power dropped. Just remove bow and have done.

I think mages should be nerfed because they cast at range and never miss (don't need dex). They are over-powered (weaken) and can feather out of the way of bow attacks (how unfair is that?)

Spear defo needs nerfing with the range and damage they do.

Axe needs nerfing - concuss is way to over-powered.

blah blah blah ....

Ridiculous arguments aren't they?

Jack you’ve spent how ever many months making a bow character.

Why? Because they are stupidly OP and makes you feel powerful.

I’ve done the same as have countless other people....

Bow needs a nerf, how can a character standing 7 squares away that I can never reach hit me for 100-300 damage with bows that are now minimum A+

Your argument about other classes being OP is rediculous... all those classes have to stand next to other players taking damage to attack!

Mage is different to some extent, it does deal damage at range, but with the speed of modern weapons it can never cast vs an archer or any1 toe-toe, and the argument about weaken is lauagable by the time I’ve casted weaken and managed to land 1 hit, the melle char has serumend weaken and made me use 5-6 pots minimum to get off 1 hit that makes them use 2 pots ( if a mage is lucky to cast at all)

1 good suggestion is making zombie pads range 1

Outside of that I don’t know the answers to making other classes equal to bow

With every cap raise bow gets more OP and every other class gets left behind, I play 4 characters and all use a bow as it’s OP, so who wouldn’t want to use it.

I get why you want to keep it OP for yourself, but think about the server and what’s good for the game perhaps?

Nothing is equal and it doesn't need to be. How many people died in 1vs1 PvP against an archer? How many died to groups of attackers and how many died to other weapons?

Bow is already useless against Devils.

Bow users cannot go solo killing Magmas for their spoils unless they have elevated another class/trait first.

All weapons and traits have advantages and disadvantages.

Bow already does less damage than other weapons because this argument was raised before. Leave things alone and play the game.

As has been said, other weapons upped but bow wasn't to balance a bit.
The only thing overpowered now in H-Soma is Int. Ridiculous, and it has massive range also.
Also, people need to remember that there are actually mobs on this game as well....It's not all about the pvp. Bow is vital for that.
Stop having a go at 'bow', it's just selfish from non bow users.
