Cooking red bean cakes

This is very numbers heavy, so wouldn't recommend reading if you don't like numbers!
I've worked out the average success and cost for red bean cakes as I thought they where stupidly expensive!

Rice per run
634 meat - 317 attempts = 258 success
This gives - 1300 rice per run
Costs 6340 bar per run/1300 rice
30 (Runs) x 258 (jerkies per run) = 7,740 total jerkies
(Total jerkies) 7,740 x 5 (rice per extract) = 39,000 rice
Cost per 39k rice 20k bar to make 39k rice
Number of meat per 39k rice
(Meat per run) 634 x 30 (Number of runs to make 39k rice) = 19k

Rice cakes per run
220 rice & 440 wheat flour = 170 rice cakes (8800 cost)
This gives - 170 rice cakes per run
Costs 440 x 20 (Wheat flour) 8,800 per run
39,000 (Total rice) / 220 (Rice per run) = 177 runs to use up rice
177 (Total runs) x 170 (Average success rate per run) = 30k rice cakes
Cost per 30k rice cakes
177 (Total runs) x 8,800 (bar per run) = 1.56 mill

Red beans per run
633 meat - 211 attempts = 165 success
This gives - 660 red beans per run
Costs 6,330 bar per run
Total runs needed to make 31k red beans
31,000 (Total number of red beans required) / 660 (Red beans per run) = 47
47 (Runs) x 6330 = 300k
Number of meat per 31k red beans
(Meat per run) 633 x 47 (Number of runs) = 30k meat

Red mung bean cakes per run
311 red beans
311 rice cakes
311 attempts per run = 255 success

31,000 (Total amount of rice cakes and red beans) / 311 (Attempts per run) = 100 (Total runs)
100 x 255 = 25,500 red mung bean rice cakes
Successes

Total Meat = 50k

Rice
7,740 success

Rice cakes
31,500 success

Red beans (Meat piles)
7,750

Red bean mung cake
25,500

Total successes
72,500

Total cost
1,900,000 bar

For those that have got this far, 1,900,000 / 25,000 (Total rice cakes) = 76 apc per rice cake
+25's are 38 apc, so you're paying double the price and get 15 extra MP at 1/2 the weight

This is the lower boundary for what you'll get for your bar at around 80 skill when I started. Started on 80 skill now on over 100 just finishing my first 23k red bean rice cakes.

If anyone see's a flaw in my calculations please tell me -_-

Rice cakes per run
210 rice & 440 wheat flour = 170 rice cakes (8800 cost)
This gives - 170 rice cakes per run
Costs 440 x 20 (Wheat flour) 8,800 per run
39,000 (Total rice) / 210 (Rice per run) = 186 runs to use up rice
186 (Total runs) x 170 (Average success rate per run) = 31k rice cakes
Cost per 31k rice cakes186 (Total runs) x 8,800 (bar per run) = 1.64 mill

If anyone see's a flaw in my calculations please tell me -_-

Where it says 210 rice, it should be 220. So the rest of the calculations that use the numbers from this calculation are also wrong. Its not far off though i'm sure ;p

Looks about right. The only reason I make them at all is that I want the cooking skill anyway. Shame they're not more useful, really.

Also, any time saved is completely eclipsed by the time involved in making the things. >.<

Yeah but the time spent extracting, you'd spend buying meat, also you never have to wait for restock with all the materials you get from extract so kinda works out well ^^
