Right today iv had 10 fails legitimate fails in a row including losing some main gear 4 items and 7 items to +1 all failed yet I'm over 150 skill and has anything been done to the anvil?

Has anyone else had luck this bad this week? It doesn't seem right it isn't a one time thing either it's been happening for months 😧

Is it just my luck or is something not right

Save your smarties, buy finished gear, nearly always cheaper in the long run.

never had 10 fails in a row usually I'll 2 times and get a success on the next

that's where using weps as failures comes in handy

although some people dont believe in this method, I do ;p

It's not a waste of time? If the wep your upping as the failure works it can be used as a back up or sold

I'm on about upping your least favourite/lower tag wep to try get a failure to higher your chances of succeeding on the one you actually want to work most

And if it doesn't fail it's still a win win situation

Then after you get a few fails in a row go for the big dog you mainly wanna upgrade

9/10 I've failed twice on a weapon then I go to up the next weapon and I always mostly get a success regardless of the number upgrade it's on

Its not uncommon at all, quite a few players do this I think

I know tongskie/sven did this because he traded me a +5 wep once he didn't need as he used it as a failure so I ended up getting it at a cheap price because he probably had no use for it

I thought to myself what??? People actually use up toes and end game weps as failures?

What about that intense pyscho bow michelin had that went to +7 in literally a day or 2? I'm sure failures were used inbetween each upgrade, imagine the insane amount of luck you have to have to go from +1 to +7 in a row focusing on the same wep using no fails

You gotta tinker with different weapons to obtain different results

Why do you think shailo wants/buys so many drawing tabs?

He obv has sense, and some sort of work around to beat the anvil at its own game like many high op geared players

It's just their secret way remains a mystery

A few months back I started to clock on and realise that most of the well known players with +7/+8 weps could be using this technique aswell

Either way it's still collecting loads of the same wep and having a bag load of toes in the end that does it I guess there are no shortcuts really

The patterns that occur for me could just be a big coincidence who knows

Either all luck or maybe it's possible to play the anvil at its own game, tell me though if it's just rng and numbers how come 75% of the time the 1st upgrade will work? How can it possibly be choosing from random numbers if the table rates increase/decrease upon succeed/fail? There has to be a specific set of actions involved each time the script is ran when pressing the upgrade button therefore it has a rule to work by right? The bloody anvil is playing a role each time a weapon succeeds, the rational logical way of thinking for this would be to think or a roulette board and each time you succeed your number picks on the table get narrowed,

But I refuse to believe this, the anvil is to much of a coincidence in the way it works at times for this to be true

I believe the anvil can be tricked and played at its own game

Whatever just pray to your favourite god and smash that produce button and see what happens

The anvil will always remain the biggest mystery in the game

Only mr fin himself could tell us for real and I doubt that will ever happen

Yeah but did you use fails after each succesful upgrade to get to that +7?

Going to +8 on that p bow was a deathtrap

Should of kept it at a lucky 7, lol

Because depending on what + you're up to the odds of success are less, regardless what has gone before, each to their own I guess but I've never used failers and have many +4/5/6 items (I'm dsoma so many dont go +8)

Depends whether the anvil is truly random or not but assuming it is Evolve’s ‘technique’ is a classic case of gambler’s fallacy.
