I have never had an issue with people having maxed out items. I'm also not that interested in how they got them, people should just enjoy the pride in creating a character themselves and getting what gear you can and not focus on others.

In my experience most of the time, the people who have amazing gear have it because they work in groups to help each other out and get the items necessary.

An up to Mags drop rate would be much appreciated though, for those who kill slowly it is a mammoth task getting drops.

A daily Mag kill quest would definitely get me at Mags every single day.

ppl who put in serious hours and levelling... DO care where these maxed out items come from..and when openly admitted to be bought.. with no major comebacks on them... well it matters to them... I always believed it was a non pay to win game here ..as dan had said... and certainly from the donation items that is true.....

However.. when ppl openly admit to buying... keep their items...and the sellers get a short ban ...it really is pay to win ...and thats what i was told this game would never be. Hence crazy hours and effort put in. Now..... with 'idc attitude .. yes i got caught...now stfu kinds comments.... '' it really needs cleaning up somehow. Gm's cant control all of this selling.. but they sure as hell could put some serious implications in for those that are caught, and put others off doing it in future.

I have put thousands of hours into cho dude. Sure sellers and buyers should have consequences, but my point is that is not my business, it is the GM teams business. I can understand and empathise with people who see things differently to me though. Item selling in Soma is sadly a byproduct of the extreme difficulty found in getting gear, it will never disappear, just like multying will never disappear.

Dan, can you at least look at nightmare drops? It's the only mob in soma you hunt for a very long time. Can tows/cts, maybe small gems be added? They should have similar drops as blg but mage items as they are both end game mobs before the new mobs were put in place

Wiping the server would likely kill the server imo.

i would love a mirrored server of this one but fresh, just to see how many would restart and how many would return.. Id happily fund a server myself but let Dan run it if he agreed but as hes stated there will be no wipe so no point discussing further.

It took me a year to cap this toon and get all srs (1168 hours of game time. Which is 48.6 days or just under a week solid playing)
If there was a server wipe 100% i would not start again, I believe that a majority of people would have the same thoughts
