They have done this to dsoma and it's ruined it
Levelling is pure easy mode, can keep strength low and stay on nub spawns forever, no variety in builds, no challenge, no chance to do anything to give you an advantage. For anyone that thinks that sounds ideal is probably to lazy to play a grind game like soma. You don't want this in hsoma levelling is so boring knowing no matter what happens you will just get 7 stats at level up

"ALEXISONFIRE"I actually kind of disagree when you say the difference isn’t that much. Now, this is a completley different issue; weapon choice. If you take the standard leveling path, changing mobs at the correct times ect; If you have picked anything to level with other than bow/axe all the way though, you will have have quite a stat disparity v.s. someone who did. I'd imagine that'd have been your problem as you invested quite alot of time into leveling with knuckle. In my opinion, thats a bit more of an issue than the +50 STR mob gap as at least the mob gap will close over time.

This toon has 135 dex, 196 str and 120 int. it didn’t get any +50 love, but still levelled on the “correct” mobs
Compared to other people i’ve Spoken to (and seen pictures on forums) it’s more than a few less stats I have (not saying name but *blank* has 200 str, 140 dex and 130 int). That toon must of healed to 100 int and done +50 str mobs. I’m not complaining, it’s obvious they invested more time to should reap the reward. Just people need to stop saying it isn’t a massive difference, 19.0 is quite a bit [/quote]

There's already a fix in place, new mobs have no bonus those with higher stats hit slowdowns earlier thus closing the gap a little bit every 5 strength or whatever the slowdowns are.

Alex I have 5more Dex then you 4 more str 20 less int.
Advantage has I think 6more Dex same str less int. We are all pure knuckles and I levelled what I know as normal from esoma. The 50+ hasn't really effected our 3 characters as we're similar in stats, I generally think if you've put time into you should be rewarded.

Just to add I hadn't played hsoma since release of dsoma on the original server, stat allocation ruin the fun for me with drop rate..

"PEHLWANI"There's already a fix in place, new mobs have no bonus those with higher stats hit slowdowns earlier thus closing the gap a little bit every 5 strength or whatever the slowdowns are. Your forgetting one very important thing... you have to pass each mob in turn before moving on to the next. At level 100 i had 160 strength, because i was sword and could not reach 171. That meant i had to use 300-400% of level 100-110 to get to 171, THEN move on to Boars. That means i got slightly better stats after, due to level/abilities.. but taken as a whole - i was behind people who were able to move on straight away. Example. At level 110 i have 140 INT. So i have to go through Nightmares, then Valkyrie Shamen before any new INT mob and i level on these mobs the original way. So i could never catch someone who moved straight onto the new INT mob even if i put all my % into it. I know i chose to level like this, but adding level's does not level the playing field. +50 monster bonus and weapon choice are irritatingly important to this game, although from what people say healing INT doesn't give extreme advantages.

BUFFY |
These new patches bring a lot of people together stat. wise.
I played for fun as I love the game, so spent 30/40 levels at the swamp. I just enjoyed it there. Buffy is slowly catching up though. Almost capped Str and 130+ Dex and a bit of Int. After the next 10 levels come in it will be even closer, because of one simple reason... The % required to gain 0.1 Dex/Int/Str when any of those stats are high is a lot more than those with less of the aforementioned. Simple. My 'supernoob' got lazy and only healed to 65 Int in town, so I'm still keeping that going, more to test than anything really. We all know it's about the items. The last time DL killed me and I didn't resist it was 4 v 1. 4 cowards versus 1. All of their items and they still have to 4 v 1 you. Yellow bellies can still 4 v 1 you even if you have the perfect char with great items. Just enjoy the game IMO and don't obsess about whether your character is broken or not. Michelin globalled crap about me earlier without provocation and I asked him to stop it in pm. He stopped globalling but then continued to give me abuse/slag me off etc in the pm. I ofc blocked his pms after. I haven't spoken to him for weeks and out of the blue just abuse from him . Broken characters do not matter, just kill whatever you want for as many levels as you want. The evilness in game of some players does matter though. This is what needs changing. I also saw Michelin giving Willow/Tich crap in global and talking in town a hell of a lot too. Why do some people ONLY seem to play to abuse others? †BTVS™ © ®

Buffy, you’re a broken record. Move on, give up, find joy anywhere you can. But for the love of god just shut up.

Jon, you don’t know Buffy very well... he’s the vile one 😂 he tries to project onto other people to make himself look better. It’s okay though, we’re used to it by now.
