was thinking about the guild limit set at 30

I know its good having more guilds but also feel 30 is low, In coven we currently stuck at 30 members

what id like to see is charisma involved in the guild numbers, either guild leaders charisma or guild total charisma effecting how many members the guild can have

I think more should be done what the charisma stat. Either making larger groups/guilds. Or higher party drop rate depending on charisma or something.

I think the reason they did it was for gvw to make more competition between guilds, tbh now theirs no need as fusion/no_mercy/legion/g5/arcanix are all the same guild now so they may as well just get one with 120 spots so they can all have the same name over their head.

Don't turn it into another one of those threads.

I agree that guild spots should be increased, could say you must have 50 charisma to purchase 3 new guild member slots, 60 for another 3, then add a bar, or item cost that would require a guild hunt to kill a boss monster that only drops items for upgrading guild members, stash, possibly drops to upgrade GVW defenses?

Tbh 30 is in keeping with the size of the community. If this game had 1000+ regularly active users 60 would be essential. But extending the guild limit will decrease the diversity across guilds and make it more like "you join that guild or you dont play".

That doesnt mean ide be against something like maybe an option to add a command for 2 high charisma guild leaders to merge their guild chat for a while. like /guildmerge fantasy ect

Wouldn't want it ever set as high as 60, was more thinking of 40 but dependant on charisma

Could have new guilds set to 10 members then needing set amount of charisma to extend guild size up to 40 max

Guild ranks/levels

The higher your guild rank/level more members you can have!

Guild rank/level 1 = 30 member + logo
Guild rank/level 2 = 40 member + guild wh
Guild rank/level 3 = 50 members + guild wh + guild shop

i know people wont like the idea of losing wh til guild rank/level 2 but just throwing in a suggestion

Ranks could be decided on gvw attendents,gvw wins,total guild pos,kills at gvw,kills at wotw etc

Not an original idea i admit as rf online was abit like it

definitely not - theres already too few guilds as it is - increasing guild size would mean we end up with literally 2 guilds...

I personally quite like the low guild member limit. But if it were to be increased like the system suggested above, I would have to agree with relina that the limit should definitely be no higher than 40, and like 187 should be char based requiring gold in the stash to purchase. Maybe as follows:

Rank 1 - 30 member capacity, standard guild stash, 100k float required
Rank 2 - 35 members, eligible for guild logo, 10% larger g stash, 60 char to upgrade, costs 200k, 200k float req
Rank 3 - 40 members, logo, 50% larger g stash, 100 char req, costs 500k + 1 PoS pouch, 500k float

Makes it a bit of a challenge to have a larger guild and makes it a bit more of a team effort.

My personal view on guilds should be level locked.

At the moment the potential is 30 level 100's. This means you can have maxguildlevel of 3000.

I think making maxguildlevel 2000 and allowing that to be the cap not the member size will do 2 things...

Make it way more fun at level 100 when caps come in as max guild size will be 20 members.
Also make lower guilds have MORE chance at gvw later on in the game, as you can have extra lower members healing and being cannon fodder etc.

Then from this platform if the elite guild with 20 level 100s wants more members then make it a very hard task to do it. Like the weaken quest but requires serious firepower...

Guild leader must have 100 char.
Must own guild village
Soon as 100 chae achieved you can get a quest to collect 100 guild tabards that only drop from existing bosses.
Hand in the tabards
New boss added and spawns that drops something unique but is hard as fook to kill (no focus so can hit anyone) can't be slowed blinded etc, casts slow blind weaken, spawns multiple hard ass mobs.
Guild leader must get last hit
Must have all members online

Do you mean CHA? as con is cap at 30 and ill be damn if i ever try for a 100
