I generally think that free rested and 1.5-2x rates is ample enough for people. To ask for drops too seems abit much. I understand for lower levels the drops would be nice but you’ve also got a select few players who can have one of three/four people online getting all the boss kills giving them an even bigger advantage over people.
Remember guys, we’ve just had two double weekend in a row. Let’s not get greedy and compromise. Dan doesn’t have to give us anything at all, let stop asking for everything and settle for less....

stop being greedy people, we have had 2 double exp/drops over the last 2 weekends
should appreciate it don't ask for another lads and ladies, if he wants to to it again its up to him, don't force him your just being greedy lol |

Generally i would think the week leading up should be 2x rates so new and existing people can catch up and maybe drops the nite or 2 before. To get people on before launch of patch

Getting new players to stay falls on us as the community helping them to gear up, do boss runs, help them get essences etc. and enjoy the real soma, not just hit mobs :)
Give new players faster rates and it only delays the issue, we have had great success in Mistress by involving new players in things and gearing them up ^^ goes a long way.

To those who think i am "being greedy" by just simply stating that not everyone can attend weekend events and it would be a good idea to cater to everyone rather than just those at weekends its not about being greedy its about giving everyone an equal opportunity.

Rather than double xp over time for the server, what about an allocated amount of double xp per char?
Implement a new type of pot that gives double xp for a certain amount of time from when used or for 100% worth. For allocation it could be a simple quest to visit an npc to retrieve the pot.

rested regen time could be increased aswell as its taken me 6 days to get 76% at lvl 83 |

I can see you’re reasoning behind it. The weekend just gone I only managed two hours on and that was for Sunday. But I’m afraid Dan does his best to cater for everyone and the weekends are when the user count is highest. As I previously mentioned one way to combat missing out is if Dan can advertise is a couple of weeks in advance so that people who want to take part can book time off work or plan real life stuff round it.
But to constantly ask for double drops all the time does make you and others sound very greedy.

For those players who don’t pay any money and simply play for fun the fairest possible way is server wise double rates with of course the option to buy more rested for those who want too. There’s a lot of 70-100 players about at the moment, those are the guys who need the boost more than any level 110 who simply wants to line his own pockets with drops....

I've never believed in the double drop thing, only on special occasions. My opinion lies with exp only. On another note, regarding donation pots, don't want it to become a pay to win type scenario.

I agree. I've never believed in the double drop thing, only on special occasions. My opinion lies with exp only.

Just make it simple and dont over confuse the suggestions. Perma x3 rates for only exp and stats.
If that happened I would be on-line a lot more and I can continue to work, be a dad to 2 kids and still play Overwatch or any other game. Though's that are saying we are being greedy just dont understand what its like to have prioritys. Not going to touch on it more than that.
