Negmare Drop System Feedback

"ARYA_"ungrateful bunch after all the effort Fin and Dan has put into this patch for hsoma and you just disrespect them like this, glad im on dsoma.


Not being ungrateful at all, giving constructive feedback.

From clicking the crystals until the boss died it took over 2 hours in that time a huge amount of people Tped (i'd say there was over 30 people there) because they ran out of ressies and pots and didn't come back ( i don't know if you even can come back) many people gave up as it was taking so long which is their decision but the less numbers we have to kill it the less inclined people will be to attend in future, which is even more of a waste of dan's and fin's time if nobody turns up!

People keep banging on about how it can spawn every T6, technically yes - But there isn't enough playercount for this to be done, All day yesterday nobody spawned negamare and the only time it was, was last night.

in my opinion i think the duration needs to be shorter and minimum of 2 drops, this would mean less people have to tp for pots and ressies therefore players stay there longer hopefully until the end.

If it took that many of you 2 hours, what would happen if you gave up and left it alive? Does the next t6 reset it? With both worlds using same map etc

You’ll moan about having nobody there to kill it, yet if I or any former DL / remaining DL player came we would be killed off the boss (I wasn’t there but did that exact thing happen last night?!) maybe you should all consider taking note of the advice you are preaching and put it into practice. That way you wouldn’t need to moan on here so much 😘

While I do understand the frustration with this drop system I believe the reason for it is something we have all moaned about at some point and that's China getting most boss drops which it will in fact solve because even if they get the kill it dont garrauntee them to get the drop saying this I kno if I got last hit and no drop I'd be bummed aswell but it's for the betterment of the server as a whole I believe

A lot of people multi log for bosses which if people do on here they most certainly won’t get the drops there for sharing the wealth!

It’s win win all round.

I asked Dan in world shout what his opinion on PKing at the new boss is. His reply was along the lines of "I would ask people to not". Plenty of VK will have been online at the time to see this and those who weren't on will have seen in their discord/whatsapp groups.

I understand this is a community boss but if people are going to invest a lot of time to help kill then be unlucky enough to pick up their drop when they killed it is disheartening.

Personally i would like to suggest the following improvements.

Remove drops from nega and have a always on repeatable 1/1 mark quest like mbl. If you kill it goes in your quest log to then reclaim random items from the drop file of nega at a chosen npc instead. This means eveyone can no longer miss out on their drop.

And as this is a community boss then have another repeatable quest to kill x amount of demons for chance to get something nice from the nega drop file (perhaps new upgrade item)?

Not about the PKing this thread whoever was PKing...

Back on topic..

I think the warp out once boss is killed is a brilliant idea, some days will work in your favor other days wont but gives everyone a chance everytime the boss dies.. got to be fast!!!

We all had this concern at shak with outside ring not getting drops or any boss.. GMs have found a solution to this based on our views so imo win win for everyone.

warp out is great, imo whoever gets last hit should be unknown and the drops a free-for-all

The only problem is if you make all the drops go to one persons inventory as a trade soul, lots of people will get bored of trying with the effort involved and stop attending.

The way it is now means anyone can get a drop really, and will result in the distribution of items being spread far and wide across the server.

Good imo.

IMO the best way to do it is to have drops scattered across the map and no one is kicked out.
