Negamare Drop - Urgent Attention

I like the warp out. On another game similar but can't pick a drop under someone's feet even if it is on the floor.
High level stands on a rare from my drop one day and not a damn thing I could do about it. Stood there for 20 secs or w/e until all could pick up and he got it.
Big Bertha even now still has this problem of people can't get their drops.
Needs looking at maybe? Can anything be done to please all?

It's been 3 days and your whinging about drops? Yes it takes 2 hours but atleast your getting a drop. Imagine if it dropped nothing which it probably will once or twice in the future. Give it time. Look at the first time it was killed.. The amount it dropped was a lot. Work as a team. Don't pk. Kill it alot quicker. Simple.

And honestly. I know you hate DL vikings but it's a new boss. Let them get involved. Let it be a group effort instead of a guild effort. Or gms should atleast make it a pk free zone

Hi, We just completed our DSoma Negamare.
4 X players. 110 spear 112 spear 110 knux 110 archer
46mins 22 seconds

The crystals seems to have different effects when you destroy different ones, no idea what though. we just seemed to do it right.
As a 4 man squad there was nobody continually hitting in when your not supposed to and hiding from adds from than killing them.

Cupid, please stop embarrassing yourself.

Up until recently bosses never had to drop anything tagged, it was brought in that all boss drops were rare tag+. As previously mentioned shak used to takes hours to kill and sometimes you’d not even get a tag out of it. If you had played this server for a longer period you’d know that things need to be tested to see the effects, not just bow to your countless demands on the forums.

We had the same the other day in dsoma, 2 low tagged old tier weaps, little dis-heartening but it has to be this way, if it dropped new weaps every time with it at 4 hour intervals (let's say 8 if dev/hum got 50/50) the game would be flooded with new weaps before many could even use them

I personally like the warp feature, if its buggy that can be rectified, it's better than the current system on all other bosses where if there are too many people(like every time at negamare) most people never have the chance to get their own drop

Love the thread title. "Urgent attention" lol. Appreciate what the gms do instead of whinging. You've killed 2 negamares. One dropped amazing. One dropped shit. It happens with every boss

112 archer* now 113 :p lol. We did co ordinate it pretty well, wonder whether it might be easier in some regards to do that with smaller groups?

But in all seriousness I hope there is a hidden property to these new weps (dsoma side) and I'm sure there is, otherwise for dsoma the whole thing seems pointless as it stands. The specs of weps are the same as our existing ones and requirements seem odd to say the least (again I'm sure it will become clear in time).

It is more entertaining than a normal boss, that much has to be said, so nice one gms on the concept.

The wis requirements on dsoma is bonkers, another addition to aid archers dsoma side and weaken everyone else, dsoma new sword needs 137 wis to use when at lvl 110 a swordie only has 110 wis so in other words they need to lose str or dex to gain wis.

Think of the bigger picture.

At this patch we get higher attack weapons plus a stat cap increase. You then sacrifice a few stats to make RvR better for everyone which allows you to use the new weapons. I think this is an a soft attempt to create a better RvR balance and I think it’ll work 🙂

That could be true IF the weps dropping on the devil side were worth the effort, they are very very marginally better than our current weps and when we can farm Mags for the same effort/reward...

We won't nerf other stats just for a new skin on a wep with the same stats or worse than our current weps.

I know humans weps are a different storey, but kind of makes devils doing the new boss irrelevant.

But yeah time will tell...the concept is good and hopefully things can be tweaked to make it worthwhile for devils the weapons are as they appear...who knows maybe the weps will turn out better than they seem at the moment.

As I say I hope they have hidden properties which justify the requirements i.e. 200 con for a devil staff.
