Both worlds - new items/upgrades

And that is partly a result of Devil Soma not having enough items in its economy in general. Devil Soma needs more variety in mind everyone plays a single class etc.

Suppose at least we have crafting now.

Drop back down to the equivalent level (what there was in esoma) and you will find hsoma flooded with them


HSoma have had 2 new weapons because they don't do enough damage (compared to devils). Devils have way too much attack so adding new weapons at that same frequency would just create a bigger imbalance.

And no you're wrong, because even Stinger tier weapons were rare as hell until magma beasts were released. A lot of humans were running around with Apus tier before then. That's like us using Death Bows and Knuckle of Vanquishing for the longest time. Imagine all our mobs dropping only that tier of weapon. Imagine Magma Beasts only dropping Malefic Bow tier of weapons, and only Gorshak dropping our top tier.

You feel it's not fair that humans have had 2 new weapons. I feel it's perfectly fair because Devils have been spoilt from day 1 (and don't need a boost in attack as a result).

Like I said, the biggest mistake was having all our top weapons drop from level 40 mobs onwards. It created imbalances and it created feelings were devils think they're entitled to new weapons (when doing that will only make balance worse). I'm glad the GMs care more about balance than making all the entitled devils feel better with new weapons.


What more do you want devils to lose? we are at least 10 lvls behind the old stat system, humans can now have as high a str as devils, they have higher numbers, the issue has always been the rivalry between vk not that devils are stronger, the fact is devils have always fought together in an organised way but humans refuse to do that, listen to Tom and Mattys podcast they bash on members of their own guild rather then trying to help and advise.

Humans have only just become equal in str this hasn't always been the case...

I'm not even playing atm and the reason is because the new weapons aint worth it when u have to lose 26 attack before you can equip them

Intense would be the only tag worth losing that str for, but with the rate new weapons coming ingame from boss only, the work needed to ever get a intense and get one upgrade to +5 to compete with our current weapons just isn't worth the time imo

I think if we are sticking with the attack and boss drop only then the wis needs removing, if where keeping the wis then rare/epic need to be better than current gen weaps so ppl can start upgrading rare tags and not just need intense only

Or the weapons need adding to normal mobs so ppl can combine 100's to try for intense

Why do you just have to lose strength?

A couple of Str here, a couple of con there, a tiny bit of dex.... People not looking at the bigger picture and just focusing on "amg i'm going to lose all my str"

Dan has stated numirous times he wants people to think about what build they want at cap and not just cookie cutter builds. A bit of diversity. Hense why a Hsoma can no longer cap both str and int on a "tank char". A huge majority of humans will not cap str this patch, unless they already had super high dex.

Example being If i stayed pure knucks til new cap, i'd end up with something like 168 dex but only 209 str. So it's encouraging people to think about how they want to build their toons.

Also in regards to you lot kicking off about weapon damage... at previous cap 5th sword and a hit would kill me, 2 archers timing 4th would kill me. All its doing is making it so that capped humans aren't getting killed in 2-3 hits. Also look at it this way, the high wis requirements also mean you'll have more MD, meaning less damage from mages

Devils have diversity, they have 6 class's

Instead of bringing in a new weap that forces us to add points, should have just lowered the stat caps and then ppl would add to wis

Also seen as u mentioned before last cap, u do relize a spear had more str than they do at lvl 120, also the new % system seem to have increased devil attack vs humans but still hasn't been looked at

Anyway I'm not going to reply anymore, dont want to sound to negative, the new patch is good, just dosnt do anything to help dsoma pvp which was hoping it would adress

These are a common drop from human mobs. 560 is dmg cap on it or 280 without weaken.
