don't mind the anvil breaking as much as it does
however I do believe in its current format it is to harsh id personally like the drops increase so that it dosnt feel like it takes months to collect and seconds to destroy. plus at least then when your caped and got nothing to do, items and upgrades would drop at a decent rate

I agree with jah. Somethings gotta give. Id rather it stay on the same fail % but for drops to be doubled atleast.

I had 2 X +2 ma pads both went +3 then 1 went +4 as the 2nd rip. Was still 3 in a row. Think I got lucky :) |

Yeah anvil is fine imo drops should be upd across the board all I've seen for the last 2+ months is barring frogs and med jades nm is a joke of a grind frog ain't worth what they used to be while melee get blg for ep dt med ruby herb and eggs for ll kinda one sided

I've made a post about people's thoughts on changing monster drops. Go and drop your thoughts in that post and hopefully it gets looked at and some changes may happen. No good posting about it in these topics as they will get missed. lets put everyone's ideas into one post give your reasoning why you think change will be good.

Lupi. Never once bought my gear. Always made the gear myself. Once made I either broke it or sold it. Just because you havnt had luck of a. +8 item doesn't mean it nerds changing. There's loads of +8items. Anvil is fine and even better for you with 200skill. Best way for it to succeed is run to anvil not caring if them item breaks. If u do care it will break. Simples.

i let a couple of ur guildies on my character who upped plenty of ur stuff hurri. Fyi i have a +8 bow... my gripe is that the last few months.... virtually everything is failing at +0 or +1. Some ppl are doin well at the anvil..some ppl arent... this rng system has some major flaws imo... however as thats all there is atm... thats life.
And..if u think soma is so easy now..why not put ur gear on and come try test it out.

Just broke another epic pan at +0 and and an epic stinger...please do something about this anvil gms?
4 weeks hard levelling and got less items than 4 weeks ago. Got some xtra stats which is nice.... but an xtra wep or 2 wud be nice not to break with the 1st or 2 nd toe. 98% to go till capped..then as it stands... playtime isnt gona gain anything.. just disappointment and rips .

Its like when you get to 7 fails im like the good shit is going in surly this will work, WRONG Please Isylver I would like to see better drops, And with flag event I noticed nothing and not sure if event works drop wise, plus new item I crafted water att ring just says %%%%

It’s a problem with rand() - it can be ‘predictable’ - imho and that is documented in respective programming communities.
Remember how I said that Palus dropping diamonds for a week then not dropping for a week? Or how someone gets 10 successes in a row then 10 failures... That isn't how its meant to happen. That 'can' happen of course but it should be exceptionally rare to happen. That isn’t consistent. If % chance of drops or a success was actually as it sounds you wouldn’t get long periods of nothing or long periods of success. Ask yourself this. If you was a new player and you progressed to say... the orcs outside of TYT in the forest... would you be suprised to know that the same 'flex' of zero drops versus a lot of drops happens, you know when drop % should be at its highest? That isn't reflective of a true % chance to drop at all. I think, that is partial to the reason why in Esoma, a few monster spawns were rigged 'to drop something nice' and were a very specific spawn because developers / GM's knew that rand() was poor but what they had to work with at the time. make +1 a 100% success rate and then all subsequent attempts at a consistent percentage rate rather than worsening at each successful progression e.g. all at current +2 percentage.
