My point was more so

Sub/Cupid in a thread not long back said he had 3 bows at +7 or higher
Lupi made a +6 pan
Monsterman made a +6 pan

These are all amazing items. And you all seem to be focusing on your losses rather than your wins?

im failing 100+ items or more to make 1 x +5 ..id hope for a little betetr success than that. Could be buying pre-made items at a much cheaper rate.. as a crafter id hope to be able to make them..is my point.
It wasnt like that 6 months ago.... things have got tougher. Or its just that damn rng............ which isnt fit for purpose

Yeah you have to divide by the effort it took... by your logic Flawless somebody could say 'But you won £1m!' to somebody who spent £15m on lotto tickets.

thats it in a nutshell +1

Some guilds are 'factory farming'' items 24 hours a day and can afford to do this..but its out of reach for ur average joe/ solo player

Okay so I’ve battled the anvil for 3 odd years or so maybe more. Turns out it’s all swings and round abouts. My first upped apus now I bought at +3 and ended up making it +5, then my first ever axe went +5 first time round. Since then I’ve had mixed luck.

I’ve made 2 x 7% intense bitter bone eva sets, the god bow (yes, still the best bow ingame) to +8, three intense pikes to +7, an intense p bow to +7, about 4 eva shields to +3, +5 otm, 2 x +4 intense hero rings.

Then on the other hand my hero top 2 broke +1, along with plenty of stuff.

Now to make two of the best bows in game and admittedly snapping one going +8 (7SS used and 3 toe) would suggest things are alright as long as you have the time to invest. I like many other people might do two success in a row on the item I want and then throw in a shitty bwa etc to get a fail to then try my good item.

But as we can all agree RNG is a shitter and more often than not screws us all sometimes and rewards us other times.

The other way: don’t put anything into the anvil you can’t affoard to lose.
Idk. I just think there are more important things to fix or change for the game than anvil. Even dsoma has hundreds of +5 items floating around now.

Next time your walking upto the anvil, if you really quiet and listen you can just about hear it laughing it's fecking head off ;)

rng is indeed a shitter .. it would be sensible for crafters .. who at 100 skill... dont get a increase in success till 150 ..and crafters at 150 skill dont get an increase till 200 skill ... for some new system to reward all craft increases with a little success % increase. Well..sounds sensible to me. And for some new ''table/ sheets'' published to let ppl kno what theyre getting into b4 they take on the mammoth task of crafting to a high level.

This hi difficulty cant be good for players who dont have time or gazillions of items to gamble with.. imo.. a little easier = more items = more players willing to give it a go a bit longer.
Never understood why things have to be so difficult here. There's a good game here.. a little easier and ppl could dip in and out as they like. As it stands u have to be a 10 hour + a day[player to even compete. ( well .. unless u got free/ donated items )

I agree with lupi that the increase in success rate at anvil for 200 is a kick in the teeth for the time you have to put into getting it hense why most arent insane enough to do it.

I see no reason why this can't be tweaked at both 150 and 200.
You will get the people that complain going about all their lost items but to be honest we have all lost and we can't let the past prevent us from making improvements for the better of the game.

I do have a server which I used on occasion to test certain anvil theories before I came to the conclusion it's all a gamblers fallacy (look it up) if it's not then anything else is possibly a bug. Although some dropped upgrades rdt/delight etc dont seem to rely on the past success. Ever wondered why it's easier? I'm happy to spend more time testing theories but it can get quite time consuming. It's probably better to look at the actual SQL code which I never got around to.

Seriously crying bout anvil? Have u seen how easy the game is now lupi? You said on first page to flick its harder, don't be so stupid. You now have magmas and kill gorshak in minutes. You now have combine. There is like millions of +8 items everywhere and your saying its harder than it was when me and flick was playing? Rofl. I was first ingame to make the first +8bow without combine. Without magmas. And with alot of luck. Flick was first person in game to make a +8 gore then he got shafted and gms changed the attack of weps instead of making new weapons. I think that feels worse than a few fails. Get on with it. Upgrading is fine. I came back earlier this year before I got banned. First day I came back I killed shak. It dropped a rare xbow and it went +6 day after. Its easy. Stop crying

"FLAWLESS"For every person moaning on here with a sob story, someone is ingame making items. It’s just RNG. As long as you don’t upgrade without a back up you will never lose.

I put 5 toes on a new sword and 5 on an epic BSB all in a row 10 successful. Then the next night I had 18 red pods and couldn’t make anything above +3.

Most people on here moaning about upgrades who have plenty of +6/7/8 items. So you want it to be even easier?

The best way to sort this out for the people who really do need it, is make some quests give out “levelling” armour. Like 3/4% eva or acc parts, +3-4 weps, some upped access. And have them non upgradable.


Logical non partisan view as always. Totaly agree.
