I don't think I should be 1v1'ing any devs and nor should any humans. However devils were dropping, even higher levels.
My initial reaction was "% is fucked - it was balanced before the change" however on reflection there wasn't many people in the throne room. In the throne room there wasn't much risk of me being killed. However at the blue zone I died twice thanks to condensed devils landing numerous 4th bows.
In the throne room where it counts I got a fair few kills and wasn't particularly stretched until I ran past slayers stone which had a few other top devs concentrating all attack on me.

For those who saw carnage running about in the scud - he can do at the blue zone as he only needs to outpot as long as the few attacking live, which won't be long with all devs by his side. In throne room he was in full kit and did fall under concentrated human attack.

I get the dex argument however the only people I had troubles casting at all against were 187 and slayer which I expected. Several people need to team these players and there will always be one person who is purely acting as a tank dummy.
Furthermore I was surprised at being able to out heal dsoma mages. Which to me suggests that the percent was in our favour.

I have 110+ int which i know isnt high in comparison to most humans but i am a mage and i was at war in full diab gear so looking at 150min MD, im lvl 65 and any one of the "high lvl" human could weaken and 2 hit me. thats very balanced imo. if 3 people target a lvl 80 melee char they would be doing 200dmg a hit EAsy.
Ive seen most guild from hsoma try and time people at their own gvw if they tried at wotw it would be effective also.

So say dex does get effected by percent and you lot still lose, what's the next excuse in line?

As for me running around naked I knew no one would bother coming that far out of the safe zone to attempt the kill so why not, in the throne room I had armour on and still died it was Iphios who got the pos.

The dex argument has a place on conti ownership and raids to a degree I think. But at a mass player event I think its fine.

There was 7 people spanking carnage with myself and obliterate constantly weakening for a good 10-15 seconds and he didn't drop, he ran. That's not the issue here, the numbers attending are, humans are in decline because of the much needed love shown to dsoma.

For people saying humans shouldn't be able to 1 v 1 a devil melee, why the hell not? Dsoma was intended to have more numbers then hsoma on esoma and it did, however on here that isn't the case. Dsoma had 3:2 in their favor, maybe even more yesterday and from what I've seen from the past few weeks it's been the same. Just because hsoma CAN train int, doesnt mean we should be forced to just so we can hit, let alone kill a devil. As someone said before, a % based on dex per class would be a solution to this and i'm sure Finito has the skills to do so, it's just the %'s that would need adjusting. If the hsoma numbers began to increase, then the %'s could be upped to adjust the numbers every few weeks as i'm guessing it will be a constant battle to try and have a fair war consistently

The point you are all missing is a key one.

If dex was affected and altered into the %, the percent you are fighting on wouldn't be in the 50's or low 60's it would be in the 70's as we can actually hit you.

In my opinion anyway.

Imo game developers gave devils increased attack and defense to make them an "elite race". A race which would be in the minority and expected to come under heavy fire. The website says devils currently make up 33% of the server. Would be nice to see this counter adjusted to calculate players over the level 50? mark.

Yoshi, how would changing Dex change the outcome of the war?

Your above example of a group of people hitting Carnage - How would Dex change that?

You realise that to balance Hsoma with Dsoma Archers, you'd have to set Dex % to something like 70% which would be knocking off 30% of a player's Dex.

If that was across the board, i'd be down to 70 dex, my axer too but an archer of about level 80 would be still on 105.

Is that what you'd aim for?

As at level cap, that same % would knock an Archer's dex down to 140 and a level 100 axer to 84.

Probably is still the case, but with D3 coming out and so much Hsoma v Hsoma hatred, many people have quit or have gone inactive (there are others who just don't attend regardless).

The amount of human complaints, ha, shall I do a search on these forums for fun? I can tell you there's a red line in there.

Humans want to be able to beat devils 1v1? Well, that's fine, you can want that. However, how can you then complain that you lost the war 1v2?

Also, what's with the sudden hate for int? Everyone and his dog uses int at GVW.

Anyway, let's take another view on this. If dex were to be based on a percentage (which i'm against btw) why would you show up more? For the pos? Or to see if there are other humans? And if there aren't other humans, would you leave or bring more? would you suddenly see POS as more useful? Or maybe you'd all get a sudden urge to farm for bone? If you were there for the fight rather than the reward we would've seen a LOT more humans.

Sylver spoilered that there'd be updated to conti. I believe this is a better way to improve conti. Though balance should be discussed at all times.

Carnage got spanked by about 9-10 of us when he ran too the left stone he had weak on him 100% of the time he ran out like it was nothing... no one by that stone had less than 85+ int? most had 100+ so how do you explain this "200 dmg w/o weaken" each shot surely carnage doesn't have 4k hp.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out devils are op go on too the hall of fames or w/e its called eliminate the humans that have pos farmed and count the dev too human ratio....
