"BLUDCLART"you didn't ask a question? any way i have 157 - 177 with DB selected and mage hero

Ok so the % is set to around 60% which would knock Carnage's MD from an average of 130 down to 78.

We'll take your average MA of 167.

Without weaken, you'll hit, on average vs Carnage (who, bare in mind is around level 90) for 90-ish damage.

In weaken, that's 180 damage.

He has around 550hp and so if he didn't pot, you would 3 hit him in weaken.

Only a fool would think that you don't hurt - If you've been attending all the wars, you'll see that when devils go grey, how much damage they take.
To be shocked at a top-end devil tanking a group of humans is silly, as the top-end humans can tank MORE devils than devils can tank humans (due to how spiky human int damage is)

//My above statement is to say that Plum can tank far more devils than 187 can tank humans when holding a stone.

Don't worry about it.

Just keep winning conti and we will see all the devil moaning threads coming back when you are stuck at 50% or lower. Like last time.

In answer to the question about attendance. I went because some of my guild mates where there and wanted to win conti. No other reason than that.

Still don't understand what message you're trying to get across seeing as you offer no 'solution'.

Humans attended in poor numbers, you have the players that can hold the stones and you absolutely have the firepower to move our players from the stones.

Your suggestion that Dex be affected by % doesn't offer any help as the people who can't be hit by melee incidentally also have the highest defence in the game and as such it'll prove completely ineffective.
In case you failed to notice, the class which proves to be a huge pain in the ass for humans is also the class that proves to be a pain in the ass for the entirety of Dsoma, not just Hsoma.

You should not expect to win with poor attendance.

To say "Oh well, just wait until you're back to 50%" doesn't phase anyone anymore - we're used to it - humans, regardless of the rewards on Conti, don't want a war, they want a free win and as such wouldn't attend even if you reduced Dsoma Dex (as is shown earlier, won't affect the "unhittables" anyway).

I know most people don't read what I write and will continue to talk nonsense "Oh I get 2 hit" or "I can't do any damage" despite the simplicity of how damage is calculated and how easy it is to refute these absurd statements.

The only thing I see is to make Conti THE best map to hunt on.

Mind blown how some people think they should be able to win with less people attending, even if dex started being affected by the conti percentage less people is still less people.

"S0RCERER"Yoshi, how would changing Dex change the outcome of the war?

Your above example of a group of people hitting Carnage - How would Dex change that?

You realise that to balance Hsoma with Dsoma Archers, you'd have to set Dex % to something like 70% which would be knocking off 30% of a player's Dex.

If that was across the board, i'd be down to 70 dex, my axer too but an archer of about level 80 would be still on 105.

Is that what you'd aim for?

As at level cap, that same % would knock an Archer's dex down to 140 and a level 100 axer to 84.

Nothing, the post was badly arranged. The original post was about humans being able to spank devils if they worked in groups when infact, we did work as a group to hold the left stone and tried to kill carnage who ran in alone, we still couldn't drop him. Me and obliterate were the lowest int there casting weaken and DB if weaken wasn't removed and I'm 100+.

The best way to do it would be to do the dex % by class, a devil at level 100 has how much dex? 160/170? A human at level 100 who was pure bow will be around 106? My point is why shouldn't humans be able to 1 vs 1 if the devils are in favor of devils now? If the turn out for hsoma then increased, just increase the devils %, this after all is going to be a constant issue that is going to need attention every few weeks to give the fairest war for both sides. I for one don't want a insta win button, as do alot of other humans, just the most fair war possible given the numbers that turn up

what I am suggesting will make WotW more exciting and fun.

At the moment humans are forced to use int, some of us don't like this.

At least if you make melee viable you might get the warriors like myself attending.

It's a boring hide and int fest atm from our side.

We don't deserve to win, our turnouts are bad and we rightly lose. We need to increase turnouts!

This brings us back to an old question though. Your GVW seems to me to be suffering the same problem. If noone wants to do int, they sure seem forced to.

Is RvR the problem or is HSoma melee the problem (int > melee)?

Also I'd like to ask you guys to do some calculations, stuff was said about int damage, but nothing about melee damage. I'd bet you your top STR could very well hurt Carnage.

Good discussion Ghost.

One thing I'll take this discussion off, Devils pills are meant to add attack to weapons, and supposedly got a boost in the last patch.

Tolic added two of them to a weapon. And it increased min attack by 2 and added nothing to max attack....

Compared to all the int addition options to everything, it's either not been boosted enough or it's a glitch and boost not taken effect.

But you are right, int is more effective. Buts it's only WotW I feel forced to use it. I don't know what Carns dex is , but I guess he is 140+ making him pretty out of reach for me to hit anywhere near consistently.

Unless he's leveled recently, it'll still be within the 120 bracket.

What do you mean tried to kill me? I was killed... I already said I died and Iphios confirmed I died in an earlier post aswell infact he's the one that got the pos from me.

And for Style since I'm not bow no I don't have close to 140 dex at all. The melee damage from certain characters isn't bad but bare in mind I wear robes as I'm simply not willing to wear invul at wotw since the main source of incoming damage is still int. I'd rather just take a bit extra melee damage than risk wearing str armour and getting wrecked by int.

We're forced to do INT for GVW because everyone else has done it. The same was said about melee on esoma, everyone else had done that rather than INT as the damage cap was 200.

The first time you ran in you didn't die, I didn't see anything else as I was busy running around like a little bitch getting my ass handed to me.

Test next wow to see the damage and how much you and an archer are hit and are damaged by style in comparison to how much he is hit/damaged?
