Feedback on axer's new weapon (Hellfire Hammer)

So as a level 120 axer I need to sacrifice 22 points to wear Hellfire Hammer. So lets see what I can give up:

1) Dex - As an axer I need all the dex I can get because less dex means my chances of hitting someone goes down even more. I have like 10% chance to hit an archer whose level 110 when I'm 120 (I've tested this during gvw). So no axer in the right mind will want to give up dex points to wear the new tier weapon.

2) Con - As an axer the only bit of advantage I have is con, since I miss 90% of the time I need to be able to take damage. So again I won't give up con points for the new tier weapon.

3) Str - Since I barely hit my target, when I hit them I would like to hit them with my maximum damage. So again I won't give up str points because what is the point of wearing a new weapon if my attack will go down or stay the same.

Does the 22 points added into wis help an axer?

1) I can wear omni now, but to be honest no it doesn't because I can only tank maybe an extra hit from mages now. Also its not helping me that much in wotw too.


Conclusion:

I've spent so much time/effort to keep playing a dying class (axer) and get the new tier weapon and when i got it I was really disheartened at the stats.

The wis requirement to wear Hellfire Hammer is too high and it does not add any value to axers. Also the current attack is low, for a class that finds it difficult to hit dex class. Can we please increase attack in these new tier axe weapon.

Maybe instead of sacrificing 22 points, GM can reduce it to 11 wis. So the requirement is 107 wis instead of 118 wis. Also currently I've seen the stats for the new tier rare spear weapon is close to intense and that's great for spear class. But can we please do the same for the axe class. Axe is a dying class in Dsoma, it will be much appropriated if we get some love too.

This is not me having a go the GM team, I believe the GM tam have done and still doing a great job. This is just my feedback as an axer. If I have offended any member within the GM team in my above feedback, then I am sorry.

I'll likely be tweaking the wis requirement down across all dsoma new weapons.. I agree it's too high and was an oversight on my behalf.

Attack, however is purely RNG and the weapons got a similar boost across all classes.

Personally dont think the wis needs tweaking, it wants removing

As for the the attack, don't think it's so much the attack its more the fact it's boss only so its going to be rare to get hold of the new weapons, and the rare tag isn't good enough on its own to do anything with

So it's sat in wh not getting used untill he gets another rare tag to chance a combine, even then the epic tag probly wont get used untill its a intense (Not like dsoma has upgrades it can aford use on any old weapon)

Possible increase negamare min tag to epic, or increase the drop rates so multiple new weaps can drop (remove the old weaps from him also)

Those changes would be a brilliant step to bringing ppl back to the game

The only other thing to look at would be pvp and bringing back sword/knuckle/spear usefulness

I think you may have made a mistake on the new Dsoma wep attacks also... The amount of time you'd have to attend this boss to get the last hit / pick up the drop then to have to risk +5ing it just for a small(ish) damage increase over previous tier wep seems almost impossible

Rare negamare knux for example Dsoma = 87-88 attack
KoD - Previous tier intense knux = 92-100?


Compared to Hsoma new weps:
Rare knux from negamare: 61-73
Previous tier: Legendary pan claw: 60-72?

Rare Hsoma negamare bow 54-72
Previous tier: Legendary psycho xbow - 53-72

Seems very good for humans, rare tags aren't so hard to get and deffo worth doing boss for/upgrading rares when they are better than legendary tag previous tier weapons.

Not so great for Dsoma tho when they don't come close to previous intense tags IMO (even before they have to remove a few points from other stats to place into WIS to equip these)

If the lower damage on Dsoma negamare weps - compared to Hsoma - is intentional (devils already do big damage to each other) how about adding a proc to new tier weps; 5%slow/blind/confuse/evasion/accuracy etc randomly generated on drop/combine just to make it abit more attractive, if axers are already hitting other classes for 150+ damage a hit, having 5-10? More max damage on a wep is going to be hardly noticeable IMO.

Tl;dr: Hsoma Negamare rare tag weps are higher in attack than previous tier legendarys, Dsomas weps are equal to epics at best
