Well, if a character hasn't had a 'goal' for the past 20~30 levels, you need to keep them interested.
How do you do that? As with every single game, ever, the stronger you get, the stronger your items get. The power gap will always be there, can't see how introducing some more weapons will change the situation.

He never said how they will be dropped or by what. I asked will this be from a quest or dropped and he said "dropped". Depends what the stats are from the mob that drops it I suppose. Evil elf style will allow all to obtain the drops in theory but yeah new weapons should balance the Mage/melee issues.
Just guessing it'll be from the new boss - but yeah I agree with what you say to a degree though. Still like the idea of making these weaps some sort of a hero weapon where by you only get one etc which can be upgraded as the server progresses as part of future development.

Demand for Pamoth weapons will decrease (allowing "casuals" to get a short at them) as the demand for the new tier of weapons is put into circulation. That's how it has always worked. "IVYSAUR"Add pamoth weapons to blg / nms in conti similarly to how devils have it now. With no exaggeration what-so-ever, 1 week hunting as a group of about 5 people, absolutely melting throug WBM to have only 3 weapons drop (all of which untag) is hardly akin to having Pamoth weapons added to Nightmares/BLG.

EDIT: I think these weapons (or at least the Pamoth ones) should definitely be easier to obtain than hunted off bosses (as casual players rarely get the chance to do that, and who can blame them when bosses have such long re spawn times?).

WotW is an issue of attendance. Nothing more.
