I revived in an attempt to lower their moral which as it turns out dosnt work but at least it's a known bug that's got an incoming fix that's fine. I don't want to cry harassment and get members of Locos temp banned there part of the community to ( a small one at that) so if rather the intended penalty was fixed tp change pking patterns.

And in reply to plum that wasn't an insult, I am only pointing out you play all the time every day and are are nearly capped you clearly don't have a full time job.or any real responsibility. I'm sorry if that upsets you.

I saw it as a deterrent from killing ppl under devil moral," why kill someone when I can get a free kill on this devil moral"
Removing this so called bug just brings everyone onto the same lvl, "might as well kill this 1 hit death than fightin a high level" And who would stop slayer or 187 if they really want to pk, they can't even kill each other

The only reason it wasn't higher priority is because dsoma didn't have much pking going on. The side effect you noticed is just that, a side effect that shouldn't matter at all because moral is still relatively easy. "CARNAGE" Something we'll see in the future. DSoma won't turn into hsoma. There's no need to be scared Relina, things like repair won't change.

"PLUM"The system is fine, the attitudes are causing the issues here. If you get PKed, deal with it, warp or whatever. If that person follows you all day and prevents you from leaving town, that's harassment, report it. +1 Good post.

I understand a few people have left soma recently and it is getting blamed on 'constant PKing'. Really, I think there are other real reasons as PKing has and always will happen. The release of many big new games, the inevitable stat slow downs, the feeling of being 'too low to compete'.
Lowering moral regain rates only serves to limit the small time one-off pking. It has little effect on someone that wants to be devil/angel.
A real damage reducer to the negative effects of pking is encouraging people to take themselves a little less seriously. If you die, you die, so what? Get your face out of the dirt and go somewhere else to level for a while. If you don't want whoever killed you to hunt you down again, refrain from sending them abuse immediately after you die/warp.[/quote]

Ensure PK'ing is limited and if you really want to be devil/angel so be it but prepare yourself for becoming fair game constantly; a choice that not many would willingly choose! PK'ing on soma must always be limited simply because the game is so very harsh in terms of stat gains and thus their loss and the loss of upgraded items. Not to mention the potential for harassment. On that particular point, has anyone been banned for harassment? Can anyone link me to the thread that details the nature of the change to moral rates?

I agree moral loss for a PK should be MUCH more severe
Ghost there is plenty of pking going on in dsoma considering the user count... Finally I think a lot of you are missing the point in that yes Pking is part of the game, yes people of a certain lvl won't die unless they have like 5 v 1 or they lag etc...but the reason I made this thread is that there is a large number of people who would like to play casually/semi casually but can't because they are constantlly harassed by an opposing guild or a stronger player... There isn't an alternative spawn for KL or WBM when we don't have conti, not only that but the player in question would quite often be followed even if there was, it's almost like soma encourages this behaviour in order for people to get ahead of their competitiors! I feel this should be changed some how, and that's what I'm getting at here. When a persons time is limited they end up thinking 'what's the point'...and I don't blaim them tbh.

Your posting this yet you follow me from town to mob spawn, and your guild do the same. Alucard (unsure what user) did this for 4 hours last night non stop to me/leniwyjoe. So guess what i'll be spending my time doing today? Its part of the game you just get on with it. What about the non stop "good luck locos trying to hunt WBM" and Alucard (again unsure what user) spaming pm's saying he will get my address off his guildies?! LOL Surely this is harassment?

Arrow I came to KL once last night to come for you, I even gave you a pre warning...I rarely do it unless a guildy has been attacked first, you are more than welcome to come for me...You know it doesn't bother me. it's when you go for low levels that it bothers me. I only EVER do it in retaliation as if I don't, you all seem to take it further and further (an eye for an eye I guess), but you guys just stoop so low.
I told stones to stop you and others from constantly going for our lower levels, and he didn't stop you.... so I proceeded to say I would go after him whenever I saw him at WBM (what else can I do to try and stop it??), before that I was leaving him to hunt just fine (ask him yourself). Come for me all you want but just please leave the lower leveles/casual players alone and I will do the same.

Ive tried to stay pretty much out of this from the start - I've just never been into pking and i'm just a casual player. What i'm seeing recently is the same behavior that made probably the only female i know who played Soma to quit - you know who i'm talking about. Ive always got on with you since you were in Sin, we talked about it and you said you felt bad about it, but you just carry on doing it to other random players who haven't done anything.
