Hsoma repairs

tried doing some lvling on hsoma and tbh its a real drag, not only is the xp so slow after a certain lvl but the whole repairs thing is just annoying, does having to SR actually add anything beneficial to the game?

Curious on thoughts, personally i'd love to bin it and have the dsoma repairs on hsoma.

H Soma relies heavily on high level crafters, removing SR would remove a great reason for getting crafting skill.

It allows crafters to get some real return on their time investment, by charging LL / Frog / Herb for an SR etc.

I get that but they can still do upgrades etc.

I agree with Chojine, but what could be sorta middle ground would be adding repair tokens to the daily store maybe? Make them untradeable too.

Or double the SRs given per skill band
Current: 100skill = 1SR
Proposed: 100skill = 2SR
130skill 2 changed to 4
170 3 changed to 6
200 4 changed to 8 (or 10 coz we worked hard to max it ;D)

Would just make the SR stuff less of an issue. Plenty of people would be selling, price would go down and it would be twice as worth it to craft to SR yourself.

More benefits to crafters and therefore more reason to gain crafting skill is a great thing imo.

Why not give us the ability to convert our SRs into repair tokens?

Make it so repair tokens are tradeable and boom we have a new currency.

People that don't have SR can buy tokens in bulk.

People that have SR can accumulate tokens over time and sell in bulk instead of faffing around with /repairon

I'm dubious with the whole idea of increasing the amount of daily Srs - Crafting rate has already been doubled and due to the recent double rates quadrupled for a whole week i think it was? (or more) it wouldn't surprise me if every person in hsoma now had at least 1 sr. Although i understand 1 SR for 4 hours is not enough to hunt with a weapon constantly so the person would either need to

A) Buy SR
B) perhaps introduce 150 as 3 SRS rather than 170 then 170 has 4 and 200 has 5

I do agree that those who choose to proceed on from 150 should be given a better reward whether this is at 170 or 200, Such as additional bagweight robe of +200 for example or an increased buff at the anvil for example, 170 could have a 2% buff and 200 a 4% buff.

But i do like the idea of being able to convert your SR to a token which is tradeable and i believe has been suggested before.

+1 on incrase SR for skill return i think mainly on the 3/4 ones +2 is pretty easy now
