I'm a player that's recently come back to soma after not playing for over 10 years, i'm a bit of a perfectionist and would like good stats if not perfect if i'm going to level, i just don't know where to begin? Can someone explain to me some MUST DO'S when leveling a devil so i don't waste time on a character because the stats were bad and what class should i pick when creating, looking to go BOW/AXE. ty (:

devil are one class only and the new stat system make it so u cant permently ruin your char


use the quest log as a guide to help you with what ti hunt, as well as getting you some armor and weaps that u will need (CTRL+J)

by one class you mean for example, you can only be axe or only be bow?

bow seems to be the favourite class, however that's making it hard to get bows of late, as everyone is snatching them up


I also find levelling bow to be a bit boring, got one levelling up myself, but prefer my swordie


other than bows range, think all class's seem to be balanced ish

think best options currently on dsoma is bow for range or knuckle and sword, its impossible to lvl a devil wrong now that's a good thing,

Hit something until you lvl up.
Then hit something stronger.
Repeat until that little number at the bottom says "120"

Sword is definitely a bad option for a devil.

The levelling system sucks, but change up mobs now when you get 30 str above them

Most people keep Str down just before they cap Str at KL to stay there for easier/faster levelling

As for class just play what you enjoy, Mages are so OP its unreal, Archers nice range, Axe still tanky, Sword/Spear hit hard and Knux can be a good option for close PvP

As above you can kill anything, got to lvl 52 in 1 day playing 8-9 hours just following quest lines and getting double exp potions from the quests. This was before the xmas event. Came out with the same stats as a lvl 85 human char that i've played for months.

If you want a boring,fast and easily lvled char, go dsoma.

Just going to say,

I noticed you were asking about constitution for a hsoma character, Maybe you should look into putting your devil on a separate account before you go to far on it, Annoying when you have 2 chars on the same account.

Good shout tbf, learned long ago to only have 1 char on each account (fill the rest with store chars heh)
