Don’t think there any need with new rate.
I know mats are easier to get on devil but I got 0 to 150+ and 0 to 125+ In just under 2weeks and started with 0 mats in bank.

With cooking on Dsoma I can just pretty much craft just doin mat runs from the NPC straight to the oven
I could craft bread but its a lot less crafts per Mat run costing 6 mats per bread I think to 3 for jerky or 4 for meat piles
not really bothered with other crafts so meh ;p

The rates arent the problem its the volume of players and how long they camp the mats for. Need i point out the original abias patch on esoma was intended for lvl 30-50 bag weights not lvl 100-120's who can clear the mats in 4 buys. Its very difficult to get the mats as quick as you can craft them. I dont know about dsoma this is a hsoma issue.

Tbh its an issue that actually dissolves its self with the rates as ppl need less mats to hit targets and stop buying.

you could take a vote on restocks,

Something on the lines of....

+1 for a increase to all restocks

+2 for unlimited to all restocks

This may give all a good idea on how the community feels regarding the restock amounts.

There has been many good suggestions in the past regarding restocks my favourites are,

1 - all restocks are assigned to each player, i.e. Say when copper restocks with 6,000 each player is able to get the 6,000 copper obviously depending on if they have the Barr to buy it with, and not just who ever has the biggest bag weight or faster connection.

2 - when mats restock instead of the next restock replacing the last restock, if the last restock wasn't touched then the new restock is added on to the old restock, so instead of say 6,000 copper replaced with a new 6,000 amount, the new amount would be 12,000 and keep adding the new restocks on to the old amount until either bought or the shop closes for the day.

solution 1 seems most fair otherwise a +1 to increase in stock volume by x3-4

No thats actually incorrect there are more people crafting because they think they will get 200 skill in a couple months, before the rate change less people crafted and you pretty much got all the mats you needed some of the time.

Nothing wrong with both of these particularly number 2, keep in mind people will use multiple chars to get around number 1 so in all honestly either increase the volume to enough that people wont want to buy that much mats or make it unlimited with barr being the requirement.

Most people who want to do it in a realistic time frame wont be selling crafts because it triples the time it takes. By my calculation its

5,304,000 copper for 150-200 skill which is 177 stacks of 29999 (4.5 guild stashes full of pure copper)
which costs 159,120,000 barr.

Now that amount of barr is alot when you arent selling crafts and it IS good for the server as a barr sink. I doubt many players can buy the 4.5 guild stash worth in 1 go. So it being unlimited isnt all that bad. You've still got to run back and forth buying 5.3mil of copper.

If we add leather for wep crafters,

1,768,000 units costing 44,200,000 ( 1.5 guild stashes of leather)

As for pot crafting it equates to costing 600k in every million you spend if you npc the pots you make saving 400k out of every mil.

So from 150-200

1,768,000 horns and livers 3,536,000 units costing 17,680,000 outright or 10,608,000 if you npc the pots.

59 stacks of horns and livers so 118 stacks (3 guilds stashes full of horns and livers)

As you can see its an absurd amount of purchasing which is shared between everyone wanting to craft. How long do you think it will take two people, three people and so on? To accumulate these mats EACH.

Right now it should be 50k horns and livers minimum and 100k copper per restock, meat is fine coz rice cakes exist, no one touches linen really but for consistency 200k along with 100k on leather along with 100k on wood. Or just unlimited with barr and buying being the bottleneck.

You make a great point about bagweights I +1 that.
What is the harm of tripling mats at restock times? 170+ crafters complain saying that it was harder for them? Selfish. Nobody should speak out about upping mats unless they are selfish.

Think ul find its the 170+ crafters that have asked for qwicker rates for every1 knowing what a slog it is.
If more ppl get higher craft skills, then maybe some more mats and bones would be introduced into the game , so that higher craft skills are more useful ie.. enough bones to make things

( think its tough now? i crafted 21 stacks of copper and 7 of leather for 0 skill !! .. and got no refund ! .. ah the good old days )

with cooking you have the option to craft bread as well
so I don't really see the need for a meat increase
