Hi, new player here, just wondering what exactly are the penalties for dying in this game?

I've tried looking it up in the manual and on old forum threads but it seems to have changed a lot over the years, i just want some clarification.

if u die without having a ress scroll on u gain 2.5% if that reaches to 10% u insta warp and drop items but this is only during pvp

you can be killed by monsters and warp to town and you don't drop items or receive a penalty also.

Ah so you have to die repeatedly in PVP and use the Revive button to drop items?

Like syo said, u get 2.5% exp penalty per death with no resis. Once you hit 10% it’s last chance saloon and if you die again you will instant warp to town and drop stuff.

Do you get that 2.5% for both revive and warp to town, and only after a PVP death?

You get penalty for dying and reviving with no resi whether dying to a monster or in PvP, you won’t get penalty for warping with no resi but if you warp to a PvP death with no penalty you will still drop items - if to a monster you’re fine so long as you aren’t on 10% penalty xp.

If you’re on 10% penalty, carrying resi’s wont save you, though 9.99% or below it will (still not worth the risk but beats 10%).

Ah so to clarify when I forget my tp scroll I can just die and warp to town?
