We all love soma ...

Maybe we should have a poll about the reasons why people have left during the last few years
-> lack of content at cap?
-> toxic community and global shout?
-> getting herrassed / pked too much?
-> too much bad luck at anvil?
-> need of more active gms / more events?
-> need of an annual cap raise?
-> ...

Soma will always be a game about farming and making the best gear you can with the casual pk. If you hate the grind and prefer quests go play world of warcraft or another questing game.

For myself I have no reason to leave yet, i just dinged 120 and need gearing up. This is my final char, il experience the 120 grind next weeks / months.

Keep feedback constructive as much as possible.

If the GMs cant find time to be more active thats fine. I guess its dropped in uc due to lack of information. We all have busy lives etc so no1 should blame dan or fin for also having a busy life. Maybe an update to explain the situation and your vision for the server would make a large difference to the moral of the community.

If there was no content added but a simple lvl cap raise to 130 how would that impact the balance of the game? Same gears same mobs but purely a 10 level increase?

In a 15+ year old game.. we're never gona be flying around the map with various kinds of wings.. or riding a choice of beasts as mounts.. the choices to Fin as to what to change or implement for capped players is pretty limited.
Seems the basics of the game now.. and always has been, is to gain levels to gain stats and try get some equips along the way.
Personally at the cap.. i prefer to try another character to eek out a few more stats than on the last one. Some ppl don't mind farming for improvements to their gear. Either way... an extra 10 levs would be nothing but a bonus for all.. Higher levs with xtra levs to gain would be a relief for lower levs..the 20 lev gap would be widened.. would give the higher levs something to do instead of harassing lower levs.. maybe new mobs would have a different drop file... more weps or whatever.
As regards news on on a vision for the future.. i doubt any of us kno what we'll be doing in 6 mnths or 12 mnths time.. at least a lev cap+ would show the community that the gm's are committed to another 12 months ish. of continuing the game. That should be enough of a sign that all is going well.

I'm happy with how things are currently, this could be because I'm not capped yet and I might have a different opinion once I'm capped. 150 lvl cap is ridiculous imo and it should never go up by more than 10 at a time.

Enjoying the game at the moment, looking forward to the next dbl exp event :p

Forget about more levels, mobs, items etc added to this great game that we all love, I believe the biggest improvement the game needs is a secure and safe delivery/collection point within tyt/pandi. I'm sure this would benefit soma in the long term and take some pressure off Isylver and allow players to donate more regularly which would allow Isylver and Finito to use there free time on other aspects of improvement of this great game.

last time I messaged him probably 4-6 weeks ago, I was seen mode, no response or anything.

with the issue of kardashians bow still on the loop, its best bow in game, and its been missing since they reboot server. and they haven't done anything about it. now Kardashian don't play much anymore coz that's all left with him to farm and hunt, since he broke most of his stuff just to make that bow. and yet he has rare mtag silverbow using atm. that's harsh!

point is! its not just a normal epic tag crossbow no upgrades that we can just ignore or let it go! " its a +8 epic crossbow 430sh recoil, come on man, do something about it pls!

i was talking about the donation store and ppl moaning about waiting. No idea what ur on about x

Yeah that crash/rewind sucked, think quite a few people lost some stuff. Hopefully it gets sorted for kard n others involved.

I don't agree with how little yeoey said what he said but he is one of the most genuine players in soma. Obv he can be very moody and says stupid stuff at times but usually comes from a loving place :P

We would love it if we had GM to be more active, I think we all have pending PM's and it might be that we as a community may have to donate a certain amount to get a GM? Having Saturday morning ISylver popping up use to defo make it more fun :)

I am semi busy with new job these days but hoping soma community remain strong there is no game like this.

Isylver popped ingame last night and did us a big boss spawn which was fun
