Dsoma very quite atm and could do with a boost
Couple of things I keep hearing about Not enough drops to break up the grind Anvil rips upgrades vs the drop rates ( I feel this as I save upgrades up, manage to match what I have currently, then instantly rip trying to improve) Not enough players to trade with and drops are to spread out to target said drop you need (I agree with this, hunting feral walkers, they drop stuff, but things I need are way to spead out) One from me persnoly, mage mobs dont drop enought that melee chars req, so very hard to trade with melee chars for things I need(like rubys, if got nothing on the value of Ruby's to every be able to trade for them) The new weaps wis req is still to high and ppl wont give stats up for wis and the small upgrade in attack on the new weapons(not sure of dsoma staff, but I dont have the choice to give up stats for the con req and my con is caped every level, sounds like il need to be lvl 119 for the con req, which seems a little silly to me when iv had staff of shadow since lvl 60ish In order to have a decent attack boost dsoma having to combine the new weaps to get intense, and then have enough weapons to upgrade (only the lucky few who's managed on first try have upgraded new weaps) Nega drop rate on the new weapons is to low to support the need to combine and then the anvil, making alot of ppl quit without even bothering Gems are needed for alot of upgrades now, could do with a few more ways to get these(possibly the boss mobs that drop added to conti) Alot of ppl are blaming the slump on the Dsoma new stat system (tho I persnoly dont mind it) I see it as this or a full dsoma wipe to fix the issues (which again a wipe wouldn't bother me as I play for the enjoyment and not just to cap)

Can confirm that it is lvl119 for staff
I dont mind the wis requirements and the need to nerf some melee to get the new stuff but you're correct in the fact that because everyone has had intense + of the old top tier weps the new nega attack isnt high enough until you reach intense (unlike hsoma- they can upgrade rare weps as the attack is already an increase)

I agree, D Soma isn't what it once was when I first joined. Even then everyone said D Soma was quiet as alot off players quit prior to 110 lvl patch.
As for nega weapons and wis requirements, It is not worth me respec'ing until I get a nega wep that is better than these weapons and I know that they are legos and blah blah but it is just not worth me doing anything untill I get max roll intense nega axe. [Legendary] Axe of Oblivion+1 Attack : 108~140 Weight : 49 Durability : 2716 Speed : E(1104) Req. Str : 167 Req. Skill : 135 Attack + 3 [Legendary] Axe of Oblivion Attack : 110~136 Weight : 50 Durability : 2831 Speed : D(1080) Req. Str : 167 Req. Skill : 135 D Soma needs some life pumping into it and drop rates do need to looked at for sure.

Reason I came over to hsoma, wasn’t so much the stat allocation it was there’s just no drops ever... the items you get into around lv65 is you till cap and there’s no one to trade with. From a early stage on hsoma you’re getting drops that even capped people want, in terms of upgrades.
There has been a few drop increases but I think they’re so low, they’re hardly noticeable with Rng.

Than people from h soma thinking it is very cheap offer like 3 % eva armour for +5 d soma intese knux. To make knux like that can be 1 month. to do rare armour 3 % eva can be 1 day.

the wis req on new weaps is stupid tbh
yeah you lose out on 7 points but who is going to nerf 7 points just to use nega weap? [Intense] Corrupted Crossbow this is my nega weap its nearly the same as a lego grimXbow? Attack : 98~121 Weight : 76 Durability : 2210 Speed : D(1057) Req. Wis : 151 Req. Dex : 194 Req. Skill : 190 i sometimes log on dev and do a run about and i dont even find no1 drop rate on dsoma needs a massive boost, also think invul should drop at tarks/DD when was the last time dsoma did nega? 2 months ago? hsoma now has +8 nega weaps they should of been capped at +5 imo shouldn't this be in ideas? lol

Maybe if it's possible to have drop rates linked to the UC... so the lower the UC gets the higher the drop rates are, if the UC increases it stays the same as it is at present?

You would really need the full data of the % of every item in soma, hsoma and dsoma to know what the exact rate for the drop rates.
Obviously more players seem to be playing hsoma at the moment so drops will happen more frequently than on dsoma. It's no good asking for 25%, 50% more from the drop rates if an item has 0.0025% to drop. I will say this, devil soma has a part to play in the lands of soma just as much as human soma, each race has it's pros and cons. I do believe that soma needs a overhaul, it can't continue by just simply adding 10 more levels every so often. This great game has so much potential to have a greater UC everyday, every week.

Isylver has even said he dont like dsoma, ghostlord seems to have just left the game all together
dsoma needs a new arm after invul(139con req) we need a new armour think most classes on dsoma get invul around 60-75? mages i think 80? @Ravensoul, i for one can say hsoma has a much higher drop rate then dsoma atm at this point in time Dsoma is dead, even RVR is dead only time devs come on is during Wotw devs dont even do nega from what i can see atm as there isnt enough devs to do nega dsoma needs a massive overhaul tbh, remove worthless items from higher tier mobs aka (devil health ) add SH instead no1 uses devil health on dsoma lol

Dsoma nega is do'able, myself and dosgardenias have done it a few times, but it requires us both to dual log and heal the other (so you've got 2 capped mages 1 capped archer 1 v.high level mage heal)
Strangely he gets last hit most the time but we always share what drops there are The issue lies in the need for dsoma weps to be intense before they can be considered useful (staff is better at epic because mages dont compensate with stats and dont have to be upped so more of them) But combine rate + anvil RIP rate makes it a futile attempt to get one I believe afro is only one with a fully upped top wep?

All problems listed I agree are major issues in dsoma, as is the lack of balance between classes - the combination of those things has basically left dsoma as a total ghost town/bit of a joke, this does have a bit of a knock on effect on hsoma too IMO.
I don’t think hsoma is without it’s problems but dsoma is 100x worse off in almost every way.

The other thing for me was waiting for level up to see what gains I would get, it was a hidden factor but always knew it was worthwhile, now people dont want to level for 10+ hours to be given a generic 2 strength 1 Dex etc that each class gets it's own version of, and there is no reward for hunting the higher mobs any more, that's why you see melee chars cap at wbm etc
