PK Level difference

Should be 5lvls from 100 across the board imo, 10-20 levels of stats is huge.

Also if no PK immunity for 120 mins can you make it so if you're being PK'd the pk'er % for attack goes down, i.e. after stalking every 30 minutes for a month straight of not attacking back, renders that character useless against that player until the receiving player goes grey or fights back or w/e, coz after a month+ it becomes pretty stupid?

Server hasnt really had any direction for many years. At this point all us casuals have dropped off and you are all left to PK between yourselves. Anyone else left behind at this point is going to quit eventually apart from the very few.

Its a shame there hasnt been any extra efforts from Dan since that game actually went into abandon ware. It has potential to be overhauled and redesigned as a project which could also lead to it being a standlone published game via kickstarter.

It is never going to happen. Anyone donating at this point is just topping up Dans wallet. The cost of a server at this scale cost literally nothing to what it did 10 years ago.

I will continue to check these forums once every few months. I still dont know why I do.

The 30minute is just to low, this could even be pushed to 1 hour. If you fight back fair game but just being +2 kd for someone to log on and kill you every 30 minutes...

Always be 2 sides to this but the 30 min immunity does seem to have a few issues.

If the GMs either up the immunity to 2 hours or introduce a 5 lvl diff after lvl 100 then that wont make many leave.
Most of the scumbags that share chars anyway just find another char of a similar lvl to try and kill on, but it buys the hunted player time I guess.
Doing nothing however is and will continue to make people leave. It's going overboard again sadly.
There are so many players a year or more from the cap or who never will cap who have left or are close to doing so due to this constant non stop pk action against lower lvls.
I again say that's it's rarely 1 v 1 anyway. Whole guilds chasing down a lvl 100 ish to kill every 30 mins that they play the game to relax and enjoy? Come on...

Maybe as you log on you have to click an extra button which would be a pk button or a non pk button day from T0 to T0 if this is possible lol. You can't then kill or be killed if you choose a pk/non pk day. Just a thought.
I think a little tweak is needed though, seems to be the general consensus if the GMs would be so kind.

Can we have a little feedback from a GM regarding this issue?

We've had a chat in town and it seems 99% of people agree something like this needs to happen, The pk immune is a great addition to the game but it now has run its course on how it was supposed to work. At present there is a big war going on between two guild and anyone associated with them, And for the majority keeping mutual is no longer possible, as there seems to be a few individuals that find it OK to camp certain hunting spots and think its super fun (because they can) to kill people 20 levels lower then them, in some cases 60str higher then these lower players regardless of their guilds. the 30 minute immune becomes just a timer for them to log back in and rack up another 2KD. for these players playing catch up is hard enough let alone certain players making it even harder for these people to level. My thoughts on this matter is we have a massive war on between two guilds and that's OK I get it no one will ever get on and what kind of world would we live in if we was all Carebears. But these players have nothing to do and they're trying to drag the whole server into a fight, and lets face it not everyone wants to be in a constant war. So without putting a ban on pk because that would just be silly (unless an event) I/and the rest of the server think we need to cap the pk levels.
As suggested on page 1,

between 16~100 keep the range at 20 levels..
between 100~120 either break it down like 100~110~120 or 100~110~115~120 and so on.
This way If you're a mutual player that doesn't want to get involved and you're within these new brackets you either take the two deaths or fight back and you know you're within the level range to maybe stand a chance?
And anybody grey is free hunting regardless of the level, this does open up other problems with players using lower levels to bait for higher levels. Unless we can split greys 16~100 and 100~120 if grey within that level you can pk each other.

Well this my thoughts and few others, I don't see this effecting any real game issues apart from stopping silly individuals pking lower levels just for sport..

I tried my best to get the GM to up immunity but he isn't interested, and then the thread gets bombarded by the pkers.

I think he thinks there is only me saying it but I tried to emphasise there are others they just can't be bothered posting they would rather try another game.

I think immunity should be higher as stalking keeps happening every 30 minutes, when you don't attack back for months - it's pretty clear you have no intention of engaging! either that or make it % based so you can hunt in peace and the pker gets bored.

its fine, we have multiple chars at all levels. we can just pass gear between them and pk u on our lower levels. ua itn getting away from it mate. somas ment to be an open world pvp game lol. deal with it. take the immunity and stop worrying about ur KD

the easiest option is to remove KD and stats on website and then less ppl be bothered :)

Yes but there used to be PvP servers. Not people going around killing chars every 5 mins

That’s not the easiest option is it; I’m not disagreeing that pvp is fun, but what you’re doing is not fun at all. Even your response shows how much you respect the server. Please don’t make this about you this is for the best for everyone.

Make kd hide-able like gear display on forum,
make resi stackable up to a max like serums

Barr when actively hunting isnt an issue so clicking revive is easy enough

And this shows that you’re doing this out of spite, you’re doing this because you can and knowing nothing will be done. You’re taking advantage of the server and the lack of GM present. Upsetting mutual players and die hard players of the server just because you can, making people quit with your actions.

Just want to put it out there that I’m passed the 20 levels and within 5 levels of capping this change will not benefit me st the slightest, I want this change for the server and not my self gain.
