Yeah end game content is where the work needs to be done but that will take a CONSIDERABLE amount of time to sort where as this is probably less than a 30 minute job and if the game was marketed properly like on twitch streamers etc people would start to play the game and may enjoy it and keep playing it and could end up with best stats therefore gaining a new regular player.

"SUBXERO"End game content is where the work needs to be done Congratulations, if the game was in your hands it would be dead. Thats not to say end game doesn't require work but you can only recycle the same pool of people so many times. You need to not just think of the ghostly 'new' player but the hundreds of players over the 6 years, not just eSoma nostalgia hunters - both of which never reached cap and what the reason was for that. If the game isn't enjoyable enough to reach cap as a solo player, than who is the game catering for? No offence most of the casuals don't see the game important enough to want to share their character or gear to get ahead and play more 'traditionally'. So what are they playing the game for, if not enjoyment? Moreover what are you playing it for if you only want to create rivalry? Both open questions and something our GM's need to think about as well as the community. (Personally I think it comes down to more items in the game for diversity and richness at mid/late game. Fixing the flaw in a lot of item requirements and gaps, not just sticking to Esoma traditions. Just as important as fixing the the +50 stat route. That and iSylver should open up communications with the person that practically had half finished the weapons template...)

+1 to OP’s idea.
I can’t prove it but if I had to bet i’d say the reason not many people play is that there is a HUGE mountain to climb before you can even compete in the fun parts (PvP). Reduce the burden by +50 all mobs, increase the rates and then make it so that POS and/or gvw wins is rewarded for PvP and can be used to buy special armour/items etc.

Perma x2 exp till you hit level 100,
Rested gains double till you hit 100 Perma x1 rates till 110. Perma 0.5 rates till you hit 115. ( then you'll be good enough for pvp) Give healing a x 2 boost too till 70 int. Add more craftable items for higher skill Craft x 1 boost to 130 for double sr. New cap raise( if theres one coming) should be very slow. Like for those that multi or what not should still take minimum 3 months. Also I think the new mobs ( from new cap raise ) the items should be swapped. Mage items drop from melle and melle items drop from mage. A way to boost lots of trading. Also add some more community start events. Like the nega where the community have to spawn it themselves. Incase gms cant get on for a while. I think it was hadou who capped first to 110 from the first cap raise, he stocked up on rested pots and capped within 1 month.

"TYRESE"Hadou capped within 1 week 🤷🏻♂️ I'm willing to bet he didn't cap at trolls considering it took 45 minutes for 0.1 stat which was like 3.5% |

I voted yes
Simple because I enjoy being able to hunt for items and not feel the need to free mode and then be torn between leveling or item hunting As a player that dosnt have a human I ain't going to put in the time to level a tank up before I level up a "super char"

"DOUAVACADO""TYRESE"Hadou capped within 1 week 🤷🏻♂️ Yeah. I'm not complaining as me and nite share chars and gear and help cap each other. As I think a lot do in vk mandems outlaws etc. We are the ones that get bored quickly when we cap in a week. If it's made a hell of a lot harder then it will take time. Which means there will be less chance of bored capped players either leaving or hunting level 100 chars. Maybe no rested after level 120 too? Or stick it at 5% so we can still craft on rested

"MAVERICK""DOUAVACADO""TYRESE"Hadou capped within 1 week 🤷🏻♂️ I didn't mean it like that I just thought the way he put it, it sounds like 1 man raped it but in reality a few ppl did and did a gd job at it ;p But I'm all for it - it's also gd to lvl chars in teams like one person does crafting, one manages healing, one manages hunting etc
