Community Poll - Change to Bonus Route (+50 Str/+30 Int)

Author Content Date
I cba to play soma because i don't want to make two chars atleast able to take blg that takes forever man, It's cool if you lot want your ability to bored hunting mobs that take ages to kill but most guys that quit because of the bonus won't care about your stats when they find a new game lol.

Also how annoying is it when somebody gets an idea and spouts it everywhere like it's relevant, nobody cares about prestige subxero.

Well from a personal standpoint, I think the most important aspect of this game is the actual longevity of the game.

I get it's frustrating for capped players to see ideas floated and gain traction, regarding increased exp rate, or doing away with the +50str method (as opposed to the endgame which benefits already capped players). I 100% get it. But those things really don't effect capped players.

Say someone else caps level at 120 quicker, because of a simple exp rate increase, or because they were allowed to hunt different mobs and still maintain the +50str margin... It doesn't put them at any kind of advantage to player who did it the "old" way.

A fresh 120, hunting whatever mobs they please vs. a character that has used the traditional +50str method, has been capped for months, and will have infinitesimally superior gear, that fresh 120 still is significantly inferior. It would not be a threat to already capped / geared players whatsoever, so their hard work will not be unrewarded.

There is no chance that these small changes to help "new" players, is going to jeopardize the already capped / geared top players we have now. But what it might do, is encourage the few new players we do get, to stick around. Getting new players to even play the game is one thing, getting them to stick around for more than a month or two is the real struggle.

I think we can all agree that the increased usercount over the weekend was great for everyone; new players, casuals, hardcore players etc. This is what we need to see.

I understand that this post references both this, and the previous "increased Exp post"... Better to post it just once than to bore everyone by posting it twice :)

As I eluded to at the start, the longevity of the game is the key factor for me, and the vast majority here I'd hope - So implementing small changes to hang on to the very few new players we get, is pretty important. It's in everyone's best interests.

Happy hunting everyone :)

Another big reason for the busy weekend was that pk was off and many people could then close the gap in peace (apart from the standard scumbags (both main guilds/allies) mob stealing from lower lvls as usual. If they can't pk they still have to show their might or 5 year old acting skills.
It was great for the lower lvls with no teams of 3/4/5 capped players killing a lvl 100 or so then bragging in global about what wonderful pk skills they have and how bad the lvl 100's skills are.

x3 exp to catch a little + pk off. Simples.

Either the removal of the +50 bonus, or the upper exp needs to happen for this game to survive another cap increase, it’s the hard truth.

Only trouble with changing the 50+ route now is there are already capped characters that have used this route and although it’s only slightly, they would have better stats than anyone ‘new’

OP not suggesting on not having the bonus rates , suggesting that the bonus rates should be for all mobs no matter how much str they are, which would mean tyt, merc would be used to lvl on as mobs with closest str to you give most exp

I think have all mobs is a little to far and would like to keep bonus rates on mobs with high str than yourself, however if not played a human in that long I cant remember what a human can level on without needing a tank
