We don't need a level cap raise? <Paragon stats>

Author Content Date
An idea i have had - maybe you can find flaws but anyhow ...

Back in the day when servers couldn't find a way to increase the esoma level cap above 100 they would add stat gains on level up, so for example 99.99% would then reset to 99.0% however stats upon logoff/logon would increase 1 in every stat (dex / str / int)

You could either do that^ and the most hardcore would certainly slog it out ....

OR

Add the "Ultimate end game quest"

Kill 6999 Hellish trolls = +1 DEX/STR/INT (pick 1 stat to increase) gem that would give a permanent stat.
Kill 3999 Wasps = +1 DEX/STR/INT (pick 1 stat to increase) gem that would give a permanent stat.

This would mean we do not need a level cap raise, but we can slowly progress our characters.

You would then only need to look at HTrolls / Wasps drop file and update it, and maybe add a new spawn for each mob..

End game characters would certainly log back on (in my opinion)
It also means we can level with whatever weapon we want and its balanced

<3 QV

*Edit* I think ESOMA had a similar easter egg event at ptrolls that would drop +MP / +HP / +BW permanent stat eggs

I don’t like the people that have suggested this but for what it’s worth it’s a good idea. End game content is needed.

It'll just be pilot central snorefest no ty.

More pvp/pve event's, add more skill to pve bosses if possible etc ;p

I legit didnt listen to your pod cast lol. Fair play if u said the same.

Pilots cant be a reason we dont get a fix for a “dead endgame” we need some way of gaining stats. The pvp suggestion is great i agree, but +1 stat every 7k mobs would get me grinding again and i would benefit over the others that cap and dont get paragon stats.

This will not work people who play 24/7 or can have their chars online 24/7 will eventually just end up with stupid stats.

The game needs more balance, more people at cap and more even gear to have more people think they can attend pk wars and gvws. What it doesnt need is a few super chars miles ahead of everyone else in terms of stats

Cater towards the majority of players (those still leveling or have just capped and are starting to farm gear

Dont cater towards the 4/5 people who have cappped with +5/8 gear and will only extend their advantage over the average player.

Sorry mate it’s a -1 from me, I think having level caps which is where the stats end is a big factor in the GM’s being able to balance things out, stuff like that would just get out of hand IMO.

It's a -1 for me also

Dont get me wrong I'm quite happy for there to be some stats quest (somthing everyone can do eventually)

But I see level caps as keeping the 24/7 players inline with all the casual players, you can guarantee if there wasnt a cap in place someone would be lvl 200+ by now

Not a good idea, at least the few solo players can eventually catch up. The multis would be having a field day with this.

It's late, it's 1:20am for me...but am I misunderstanding that what's being said is, there can't be an increase from level 120 to 130? If so, why not ?

There can be, think hes just looking at somthing that permanent and can be done all the time rather than caping and waiting for cap rise

Problem with that is someone will always be miles ahead
