The way I see it, the real grind is/should be getting the stats/lvl's - to keep it much more appealing/fun for the casual's is frequent drop's from monster's and drastically increase drops on Conti( = more attendance at WotW.) Also Gorshak should never drop untagged items for the amount of effort put in to kill, Gorshak should drop only tagged(hardened to top end)
Have weapons til +3 not break and only take the upgrade if fail,(+1-+3) if you try go to +4 there's a chance your item could break or either make it so if it fails the item can downgrade one or two steps to +2/+1.

From a lot of experience on a lot of servers, including eSoma, it seems significantly worse on here... and I think it'd be safe to assume that plenty of other people feel / have experienced similar. Perhaps the systems were changed to LUA when other things were, and that resulted in a less chaos (RNG) based system, and a more set percentage-based system? Just a thought. Or it's just very bad luck on most people's part. That's also plenty possible. :P

Was probably 60/40 from memory. Keen eyes especially, I'm pretty sure I never failed one, they had really high success rate.

Its fine as it is, just think the frequency of drops could be increased via repeatable quests of kill 3000 palus for RDT/ToW - Those kind of stat+ - I find it annoying that you have to wait for end game or a lucky lucky hit on a boss to obtain these weapons.
I'd love the game to move away from the accuracy/evasion side of things and focus on 'attack sets' and 'defence sets' or mixing it up a little, I remember on eSoma Sabre having something like a +15 Str or so ivory set (In total). This would be good for GVW too, as once a 90-95 gets on, mixed with cure/level 4 heal its difficult to shift anyone as the melee damage is so little. We're heading for the majority of people having roundabout the same stats unless someone goes full retard with dex, even then its not ideal due to aura damage. Mix It Up
