"AZAZYEL""HURRICANE""AZAZYEL"Its fine as it is, just think the frequency of drops could be increased via repeatable quests of kill 3000 palus for RDT/ToW - Those kind of stat+ - I find it annoying that you have to wait for end game or a lucky lucky hit on a boss to obtain these weapons. okay then +8int Armour and rings or +8str. Either way its a ridiculous ooo harsh.

I'd love the game to move away from the accuracy/evasion side of things and focus on 'attack sets' and 'defence sets' or mixing it up a little, I remember on eSoma Sabre having something like a +15 Str or so ivory set (In total).
This would be good for GVW too, as once a 90-95 gets on, mixed with cure/level 4 heal its difficult to shift anyone as the melee damage is so little.
We're heading for the majority of people having roundabout the same stats unless someone goes full retard with dex, even then its not ideal due to aura damage.

why make upgrades easy to obtain? People would have +8dex rings n stuff..
Dont agree

Where did I put DT?
Go kill orcish general then make a thread about not killing noob bosses.
"TYRONE""GHOSTLORD""HURRICANE"has upgrades success rate been nerfed worst than esoma on here? or is it a rumour. We talked about it before the server launch and decided to leave upgrading as it. To be fair, due to the bug which was fixed recently the overall success rate would've been lower for players - but only because of the bug. I don't like the idea of more skill = more succes rate. This is because a lot of dropped upgrades don't require any skill to use - what about those? Would be fun to explore alternatives like PP's for upgrades which allow for + succes rate. If I get a chance to talk to Finito today I'll see if I can ask how the success rates work exactly. As far as I remember the fail rate goes up the higher you try to make your item.

Rumours.
Is this confirmed by Finito, or just a guess because, to your knowledge, nothing's been changed?
From a lot of experience on a lot of servers, including eSoma, it seems significantly worse on here... and I think it'd be safe to assume that plenty of other people feel / have experienced similar.
Perhaps the systems were changed to LUA when other things were, and that resulted in a less chaos (RNG) based system, and a more set percentage-based system? Just a thought.
Or it's just very bad luck on most people's part. That's also plenty possible. :P
An item to use to increase success rate on upgrading would be a great idea.

"GHOSTLORD" Dropped upgrades don't need adjusting and are fine, you don't need skill but that's so anyone can use them. Why not allow crafters to have a reason to go above 130 skill? There's 0 reason for getting above 130 armour, access maybe for the dura on access and maybe weapon for people re-skilling but that's it, there's no end game benefit to having a high metal skill.

"YOSHIMITSU""GHOSTLORD" Then don't do it? No need to adjust the upgrade success rates, people have +4+ items already.

Increase the drop rate/introduce quests for repeatable Tow/RDT etc. (Not DT @hurricane orcish general up yet?)
No need to play with the success rate of eva/accuracy etc. - especially accuracy its too game breaking with the amount of rubies etc. you get @ BLG. The majority? The issue is drop rate (Of certain items), not the success/failures of upgrades.

Drop rates are fine as they are... +8int access and +8str access will make people to overpowered. Why not dex? Bit unfair for the dexers to get punished. Hsoma need eva and accuracy for devils dex so another stupid idea.

"HURRICANE""AZAZYEL"Increase the drop rate/introduce quests for repeatable Tow/RDT etc. (Not DT @hurricane orcish general up yet?) How is it another ridiculous quote? Asking if a noob boss is up so I can kill it.. Your a high level with trace who wouldn't dare kill a mob meant for me let alone make a thread. Drop rates are not fine are they, I'm sure the usercount (which is dwindling) would appreciate making their own +str/+int items earlier ingame rather than selling them off a soon as they drop. +8 int and + str access? Who has this or close? Why would a repeatable quest or drop rates increasing (Either) result in people having that kind of access with the discussed failure rate in this thread. 3000 was a rough number, even with that I doubt people would stack up enough to hit +8.

"YOSHIMITSU""ROTILIA" Just because the majority barely have +1 items let alone anything higher isn't a reason to increase the success rate for the crafters as multiple people who hunt the bosses or mobs with the limited drops have +3/+4, increase the drop rate instead.
