"CIROSE""HXW""CIROSE"You said "until you hit the str slowdown at blg", does something change at that point? 3rd4th knuckle is awesome for leveling all the way. Bow is too much for me as it takes too long to move on to the next str monster

There is no other mob after blg meaning once you hit the slowdowns on them you have no more mobs to get faster stats.

Damn blg are the highest STR mob in hsoma? That sucks :(, oh well at least I have what I need now, thank you very much for the info.
I'm thinking of either pure bow or pure knuckle now, although I cant decide between the two. Considering knuckle is 150%dex 50% str it would seem the logical choice as that falls in line with how dex increases at half the rate of str. I also heard knuckle 3rd/5th gives stats too. [/quote]

If you do bow, you gotta compliment it with axe, at least early on you do or you get stuck at certain mobs for way too long. If you go pure knux, you get moving quicker dude to str gains, but I think it needs complimenting with axe or sword or spear, but later than bow. I think hsoma is made in a way which you have to combine weaps to get the stats you need want. I have started knux and at 80dex 92 str I get very good gains on both, also at one point I had around 22 more str than dex! Was like 83 str and 61 dex at one point! So keeping str and dex close is a myth, you can make up dex later on easy. Smash it till you can wear hero, but make sure u got enough dex to hit valks/warmess and life will be easy!

Hmm, the myth though is for people with 50 or 100 less dex than their STR. 20 isn't that much. ;o I think i remember this originating from a Rhyse server where someone went pure axe and was stuck at 400 str 100 or whatever. Also I don't think comparing hsoma to dsoma in this case is very helpful - since dsoma doesn't have a choise.

I never did compare dsoma to hsoma ;p But I think people are getting confused with keeping dex close str and plain not doing any strstr all, like I said i believe the game made for using a combination weaps
